Lofer is a beautiful small town with a lot to offer...
Lofer is a beautiful small town with a lot to offer surrounded by big mountains. There is everything you need, great public transportation and kind people. We visited multiple glens and took a cable car for a trip above Lofer. Unfortunately we had bad weather for the whole stay, so we didn't try the outdoor pool, but i'm sure it's also very lovely.Karolína - 10Scored 10

Fully furnished ground floor apartment in a beautiful family house. Each room has its own bathroom and toilet. From the terrace in front of the apartment there is a view of the surrounding mountains. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The ski lift in Lofer is accessible on foot (about 800 m). There is also a Spar nearby. Highly recommended for a family skiing or hiking trip.

Beautiful Austrian market town just 40 mins from Salzburg. Whilst it's a small ski resort, it's perfect for a long weekend away. The town itself is very picturesque with lots of great options for eating and drinking.

Lofer is an excellent ski resort for families.
Lofer is an excellent ski resort for families. The ski area itself is ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers, and they have one of the best setups for children I have seen anywhere. The Ski Schule Sturm is the best I have used and the Trainers and Staff were all excellent. The mountain restaurants are reasonably priced all over. Lofer is fairly small, so everything is easily accessible by foot and quite a safe place to stay. If you want to take your children skiing and feel safe with them, then you cannot get much better than Lofer.

Beautiful & Traditional Austrian Village that along with good intermediate level skiing includes lovely walks, quality restaurants and relaxing aprei ski that all combine for a relaxing and very enjoyable holiday resort. Visit Zum Schweizer, Neuwirt , Ketch Alm, Schonblick and Gasthaus Krepper for quality food while Kramerei, Karussell in the village and Kubbar in the mountain provide friendly and entertaining bars in a chilled out atmosphere.

We were also invited to use the balcony and it had a great view that goes amazingly with a glass of Austrian Red wine. Thanks for the gift as well - the stay was very pleasant and I wish to come back sometime soon! The location was also a perfect spot to start a mountain hike. P.s. attaching a picture of the thunder sky around the mountains that was best observed in the balcony.

The furniture was classic Austrian, the bed was large and comfortable. The little balcony overlooking the town center was an ideal place to relax in the evening. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. The breakfast was sumptuous and good. Villa Egger was clean, comfortable, centrally located and was very charming. The staff and the owner were helpful and courteous. I will definitely return to Villa Egger.

We had a room with balcony at the second floor with a spectacular view on the mountain area.

The pension is in the center of Lofer. The alm area is very beautiful. Lofer is also a good starting point for Berchtesgaden, Kitzbuhel and Zell am See.
