It’s the perfect little city to use as a base for exploring this area is eastern Tyrall. Call there’s plenty to do here in any season. In the winter there is skiing, paragliding, cross-country skiing, walking through the beautiful valley. In the summer there is rafting, mountaineering, lots of hiking and other outdoor activities. The people are really wonderful and friendly and there are many other places to visit nearby. Just beautiful scenery everywhere you look!!! We found numerous delicious restaurants including Kirchenwirt and Adler Stube. We also absolutely loved the café at the top of Zettersfeld… The ski area. It was so cozy and cute and the scenery was just stunning 360° views of the Alps. Great food. We went to paragliding with the Bruno Girstmair Flight school. Incredible experience. Flying above the alps. Words cannot even describe it

Beautiful location but didn't have enough time to visit the castle or walk about The Alpine coaster was great, as was the cable car up to the top of the mountain. Stunning views of the whole area and behind. I would recommend Lienz to anyone who is visiting the Alps region. It's a great starting point!

Marlies’ place gets an A+ from all of us. There apartment is spacious, light, comfortable and well equipped. The garden is beautiful and outdoor space inviting. The mountain view is commanding and breathtaking. Location is quiet, easy walk to grocery and 10 minutes or so to the tourist center and train station. We loved Lienz and there is lots to do in the surrounding countryside. All a home run. Can’t wait to come back - for longer.
The ground level apartment was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen had enough cooking supplies. It had a nice dining table and sitting area. The bedroom was big. It is located on the edge of Lienz near open farm land but is close enough to easily walk into town. It is a quiet area. There is a grocery store close by for supplies. Helga was a good host and was helpful. It was an enjoyable stay and Lienz was interesting to visit.
Great location - we loved our balcony 3rd floor overlooking the river. The river facing out door facilities incl. breakfast terrace are superb.
Lienz has lots to offer - a great location for many hiking tours - proximity to a 36 whole golf course and great weather.
We decided to only have breakfast at the hotel - as there are plenty of alternatives for dinner outside the property.
We were travelling around the southern Austrian Alps and the hotel is a good choice fir a short 1-day stopover.
The hotel is located just 5-10 min walk from the town center. Ample and free car park provided by the hotel.
Rooms were ready ahead of our arrival - clean rooms, comfy beds.
Pleasant check in-check out experience.
Very hospitable staff.
the rooms were clean, modern - given it is attached to the brewery had lovely finishing touches like a beer tap for the sink tap. bed comfortable - quiet outside
the restaurant downstairs served food that was excellent quality and quintessential Austria , service was friendly. space around the back under cover to charge my ebike

The hotel is located right in the center of Lienz, very convenient to everything. The room was spacious and clean with a small window that we could electronically open and close, but couldn't see out of. We could however, hear the noise form the main square below.
Very nice hotel with amazing restaurant, amazing view and extremely nice personnel.
Location above Lienz offers great views over mountains. Restaurant is almost Michelin star level. Rooms/apartments are spacious and modern, very well equipped.
Hotel was great value for money. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, especially the fresh orange juice. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable and location in the centre of town was excellent.
