It’s the perfect little city to use as a base for exploring this area is eastern Tyrall. Call there’s plenty to do here in any season. In the winter there is skiing, paragliding, cross-country skiing, walking through the beautiful valley. In the summer there is rafting, mountaineering, lots of hiking and other outdoor activities. The people are really wonderful and friendly and there are many other places to visit nearby. Just beautiful scenery everywhere you look!!! We found numerous delicious restaurants including Kirchenwirt and Adler Stube. We also absolutely loved the café at the top of Zettersfeld… The ski area. It was so cozy and cute and the scenery was just stunning 360° views of the Alps. Great food. We went to paragliding with the Bruno Girstmair Flight school. Incredible experience. Flying above the alps. Words cannot even describe it

Lienz was a very nice town, with plenty of variety for shopping, drinking coffee and eating the most amazing cakes. The ski lift can be reached on foot or bus. The views from the top were amazing as was the cafe where you can have lunch, sit outside and enjoy the sunshine, after skiing..

Beautiful location but didn't have enough time to visit the castle or walk about The Alpine coaster was great, as was the cable car up to the top of the mountain. Stunning views of the whole area and behind. I would recommend Lienz to anyone who is visiting the Alps region. It's a great starting point!
EVERYTHING!
Let’s start with Ann !
She’s a great host and very smart and nice to talk to ! She maintains the house all by herself 💪🏼
She caters to the guests and also serves up some amazing breakfast .
The rooms were great . The view is great . And it’s a lovely walk into town by the riverside .
And it’s not just value for money ! It’s a steal deal !
If you’re in Lienz don’t even think twice just book this place if it’s available !
Thank you Ann ! It was lovely staying in your Beautiful Home .
Very nice hotel which included breakfast with lots of choice. The evening meals we paid extra for were also of very good standard. The room overlooked the mountains and the ski lift which sadly wasn't in use on the days were there. There were lots of activities for children, though I think again just at the weekend. The hotel is quite isolated and ideal for walks this time of year. The spa facilities were also very good to retreat to after a long walk.
The ground level apartment was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen had enough cooking supplies. It had a nice dining table and sitting area. The bedroom was big. It is located on the edge of Lienz near open farm land but is close enough to easily walk into town. It is a quiet area. There is a grocery store close by for supplies. Helga was a good host and was helpful. It was an enjoyable stay and Lienz was interesting to visit.
Located in central Lienz, the property was very handy for railway and bus stations, shops, restaurants and cafes. The property was well appointed, with modern decor, clean and comfortable. The owners were very helpful answering all my questions. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and would be happy to return to Dina Mariner when returning to Lienz
It's in a very quiet area of the city, a neighborhood area. It is about 1 km from the train station but an easy walk with sidewalks .
The room had a traditional Austrian feeling .
We were in room 19 on floor 3 and had a small balcony with a wonderful view of the Dolomites.
Check in was easy and as explained in email .
we picked this hotel for the pool and we absolutely loved the pool! i mean, the entire hotel is super nice, breakfast was lovely, but with two little boys who love water/pools, the rooftop pool was the absolute highlight! also super location, without question. the little tavern downstairs is also very handy!
Our family spent a week at Hotel Holunderhof and we had a fabulous time. The hotel is located perfectly for a ski vacation. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished and the daily breakfast was delicious. We hope to stay again soon!
Grand view from the balcony. Comfy bed. Separate enclosure for changing clothes and storing (+ it had a small safebox). Nearby from cable car route which brought us high in the mountains. Room has thermostat. Kind hotel workers.
We traveled with our small son, and the playground on the property was a very nice surprise. The food was very tasty. And the location is great if you want to do some hiking or cycling in a more quite part of Austria.
Our stay was absolutely amazing! Staff were so friendly and the food was incredible. The room was spotless and the hotel surrounding by the lake with Mountain View were so beautiful. Everything was great!
When you about to discover this area of the Alps, the central position of Lienz is a good starting place. This was a skiing / winter vacation but its a very good place for summer tourism as well i think.
Wonderful stay in Lienz.
Modern equiped rooms in old buildings.
My husband and I stay there for only one night, but the hotel is far beyond our expectations.
The scence from the rooms was stunning.
View from Wildauers Room over Lienz and dolomites was spectacular. Staff was great. Breakfast buffet wasn't huge, but with a tasty selection of prepared foods and nice outdoor seating.
The location was excellent. Lienz is small town, so it's easy to walk everywhere. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The room was small and functional.
Very nice Hotel not far away from the city center. Great garden und great restaurant! The staff was very kind and answered all of my questions. Thank You
