I personally do not ski, I came to take awesome pictures of the mountains and I was not disappointed! Beauty is all around :))
Also I liked gourmet food and some luxury shopping. Can recommend a big Strolz shop and a terrace restaurant of the Arlberg hotel, which also has a good DJ.
So, if you want to feel pampered, spoilt and glamorous, come to Lech :))

Lech is one of, if not the best, ski resort in Europe imo.
Lech is one of, if not the best, ski resort in Europe imo.
Beginners can start at the Fluhen drag lift then move on to the runs above Oberlech served by Petersboden, Weibermahd and Kriegerhorn lifts. When feeling confident there is the fun option to ski over to Zurs which is a superb run. Just beware the blues directly above Lech are steep and probably should be marked red at the bottom.
Intermediates can progress to the runs above Zug, ski in Warth-Schrocken and complete the "white ring" to St Anton. For experts there are many black runs and off-piste throughout the Arlberg area.
During our week the conditions were significantly better in Lech than in St Anton and the Arlberg had better snow than most (as is usually the case).
Lech (& Oberlech) village is beautiful and there are plenty of restaurants and bars. Oberlech is easily accessible by gondola which runs until 1am. One can ski to Zurs or St Anton or take a bus. There is sledging and hiking for non skiers and meeting others for lunch is simple.
The drawbacks compared to its main European competitors are that it doesn't have the size or nightlife scene of St Anton, Verbier, Meribel, Zermatt or Val D'Isere. Nor does it have the extent of beginner skiing of Courchevel 1850. Apart from that it is very, very tough to beat as Europe's premier ski resort.

Lech is a very nice little town with all the amenities.
Lech is a very nice little town with all the amenities. Easy to walk everywhere and the blue bus is free. It is however expensive so be prepared. The skiing is dependant on the snow conditions. The Blues are not always blues so beginners beware.

Lech is the best resort in the entire alps!
Lech is the best resort in the entire alps!
It's not huge and crazy like St. Anton, rather it's smaller and refined.
It boasts the MOST snowfall of any resort in Europe (along with Warth which is on the backside of Lech.)
The only problem is that Lech is very expensive €€€€€ and it books out really fast. So it's a nice splurge trip maybe once a season, but is too pricey for most people to go more than that (especially families.)

The apartment was beautiful and very well equipped.
The apartment was beautiful and very well equipped. The proprietor came to collect us from where the coach had dropped us as we couldn’t get a taxi. The property is genuinely ski in/ski out. The hotel next door, the Salome, was a great place to lunch and dinner and hang out on the sun terrace. Easy busses into the Center of town run every half hour and it’s a 10 minute journey from 5 mins walk away. All in all a lovely stay.

The hotel is in a superb location for the slopes and is incredible value for money. The room was clean and very comfortable. Above all else, the host family were welcoming and went way beyond what I would have expected from the start, with wine and chocolates in the room and offering breakfast at no extra cost. I became unwell during my stay and they checked on me regularly and brought food to my room. I felt like I was being hosted by friends. I cannot express how grateful I am and how happy I would be to return there again.
The location was incredible, right next to both lifts. The ski’s were stored in a shop inside of the hotel and were taken care of. The room had an incredible view of the mountains and great overall atmosphere. Pfefferkorn was always extra with everything. Cleaning twice a day, organized parking, coffee and cakes after skiing, and more. Would definitely go again!
This is the first ever good experience in this hotel apartment the management and the owner were very nice with us I would recommend any one to visit because the location so beautiful abd view of the mountain and also some one like to cook everything available with very high standard accessories
Everyone at the hotel was so helpful & cheerful. The location was great - right across the street from the gondola to ski. There were restaurants, bars & shops within easy walking distance (from 1 min to 10 minutes away). We drove in, and hotel parking was convenient and free.
The staff is super friendly! They will help you with everything!
The hotel is located at the top of the village with a beautiful sun terasse. The room was always clean and the super extra are the great yoga classes!
Busstop at 100 mtrs with just one halt to village/ski center/supermarket/.... Parking in front of hotel. Friendly owner and personnel. Good breakfast. Reasonably priced for Lech location.
the Staff was amazing. The Sauna part of the hotel, after a heavy skiing day was just what has needed.
properly on the pists of Zug
Really, really good value.
Much appreciated
It is a beautiful, old Austrian farmhouse, stylishly refurbished to an exceptional high standard. It is spotlessly clean and perfectly located for the beautiful town of Lech.

lovely spa. friendly staff.
An excellent hotel all around down to the smallest detail. Even the do not disturb signs were excellent. Would’ve been a 10/10 stay if it not for the below.
