All of the food options were excellent, definitely don’t miss the Austrian restaurant nor the Alter Goldener Berg for traditional fondue. Breakfast is also excellent. I personally do not ski, I came to take awesome pictures of the mountains and I was not disappointed! Beauty is all around :))
Also I liked gourmet food and some luxury shopping. Can recommend a big Strolz shop and a terrace restaurant of the Arlberg hotel, which also has a good DJ.
So, if you want to feel pampered, spoilt and glamorous, come to Lech :))

Lech is one of, if not the best, ski resort in Europe imo.
Lech is one of, if not the best, ski resort in Europe imo.
Beginners can start at the Fluhen drag lift then move on to the runs above Oberlech served by Petersboden, Weibermahd and Kriegerhorn lifts. When feeling confident there is the fun option to ski over to Zurs which is a superb run. Just beware the blues directly above Lech are steep and probably should be marked red at the bottom.
Intermediates can progress to the runs above Zug, ski in Warth-Schrocken and complete the "white ring" to St Anton. For experts there are many black runs and off-piste throughout the Arlberg area.
During our week the conditions were significantly better in Lech than in St Anton and the Arlberg had better snow than most (as is usually the case).
Lech (& Oberlech) village is beautiful and there are plenty of restaurants and bars. Oberlech is easily accessible by gondola which runs until 1am. One can ski to Zurs or St Anton or take a bus. There is sledging and hiking for non skiers and meeting others for lunch is simple.
The drawbacks compared to its main European competitors are that it doesn't have the size or nightlife scene of St Anton, Verbier, Meribel, Zermatt or Val D'Isere. Nor does it have the extent of beginner skiing of Courchevel 1850. Apart from that it is very, very tough to beat as Europe's premier ski resort.

Lech is a very nice little town with all the amenities.
Lech is a very nice little town with all the amenities. Easy to walk everywhere and the blue bus is free. It is however expensive so be prepared. The skiing is dependant on the snow conditions. The Blues are not always blues so beginners beware.

Lech is the best resort in the entire alps!
Lech is the best resort in the entire alps!
It's not huge and crazy like St. Anton, rather it's smaller and refined.
It boasts the MOST snowfall of any resort in Europe (along with Warth which is on the backside of Lech.)
The only problem is that Lech is very expensive €€€€€ and it books out really fast. So it's a nice splurge trip maybe once a season, but is too pricey for most people to go more than that (especially families.)

The apartment was beautiful and very well equipped.
The apartment was beautiful and very well equipped. The proprietor came to collect us from where the coach had dropped us as we couldn’t get a taxi. The property is genuinely ski in/ski out. The hotel next door, the Salome, was a great place to lunch and dinner and hang out on the sun terrace. Easy busses into the Center of town run every half hour and it’s a 10 minute journey from 5 mins walk away. All in all a lovely stay.

The charming decor, warm hospitality, and convenient location near the slopes made our short stay and experience truly unforgettable. The rooms are well spaced and the compartmentation fulfils all the needs during a ski holiday, with a changing room benefitting of heated boot rack, ski/snowboard rack and even a small area to service and wax the equipment(wax, iron, different brushes, files for tuning the edges etc. provided).
Highly recommend Haus Ricarda to anyone seeking a cozy and convenient retreat in the heart of the Austrian Alps.
The hotel has a great location in Oberlech and is perfect for ski in-out. The views from the hotel were wonderful. The staff are super friendly and helpful, they really did go above and beyond. The hotel is linked by tunnel to other places in Oberlech which is always very convenient. The room was great,, nice balcony and view and very comfortable beds. the dining room and lounge area are nice and modern and have great views. Good coffee and juice at breakfast. All in all we enjoyed the hotel and the location.
Johannes and Barbel were the perfect hosts, they were incredibly helpful and Johannes cooking was just superb. The hotel was immaculate. Our room was large and airy with a fantastic walk in shower in the ensuite bathroom. It also had a balcony (but as it was snowing this was not used)! Just adored staying here and hope to come again soon
The soothing ambiance of the each little detail this hotel offers paired with amazing cuisine and superb hospitality makes for a memorable stay. There is never a dull moment from breakfast to dinner, the atmosphere is electric! There is so much passion and generosity from the owners and staff, you are truly treated like family!
The best hotel stay of our trip. We felt at home. It is hard to creat this but they made us feel this way. It was exceptional. From clean rooms and facilities, absolutely amazing spa options, the grounds, services, advice for outdoor activities, every detail was fantastic. Great breakfast options, and a phenomenal location.
The breakfasts were delicious, lots of options and very healthy! The rooms and beds are very comfortable, the spa and steam is an extra treat after a day of skiing, and the hotel is in a perfect location right in the heart of the town. I recommend Hotel Garni Schneider whole-heartedly!
Breakfast was great but they should tell you that eggs are available to order. The spa area was quite nice and relaxing, although I think the wi-fi is weak in that area. The hotel staff got lift tickets right away, as well as made reservations at local restaurants--very helpful.
The location is good, hotel

2) Lots of parking space in front of the hotel and its free parking!
The staff were brilliant and the pool and saunas were excellent. Breakfast was extensive and the evening meal choice was great and varied. Our room was well appointed, very comfortable and warm. The hotel is right on the river which is picturesque.
The location is great, very friendly and helpful staff. i stayed in the double deluxe room, a large bright room. the hotel is directly at the ski-lift, above the hotel is a beautiful restaurant on the mountain. free parking for guests.
