We stayed for a week-long ski trip around the new year. Overall, we had a great time. The cooking was exceptional, every day. Very attentive table service. Our room -- while not the biggest one on offer -- was comfortable for us (2 adults, 2 kids) and tastefully designed/decorated, e.g. from the quality wood furnishings to the old stove (heater) serving as a bench to the blue trim along the ceiling. We did enjoy the pool and whirlpool, but unfortunately didn't have enough time to enjoy everything there was.

Great skiing resort. Many ski-lifts and pistes to explore and they are all well prepared. The pistes are not too difficult, most of them are of medium difficulty, but there are also some pistes suited for learning skiers.
There is also a possibility to trek to the nearest peaks with or without the help of ski-lifts.
The wellness is also great with an outside heated pool from where you can see the ski pistes.
The area is well suited for families since it is peaceful and quiet.

The town is wonderful.
The town is wonderful. I can imagine it in a beautiful winter idyll, covered in snow and illuminated with lights. Autumn time - just as beautiful, but the fact is that after 10 o'clock everything closes. I would also like to see more cycling areas clearly marked - they lack this in snow-free times.

Nice town, not too crowded in september.
Nice town, not too crowded in september. There is a great country bike trail, 15 km long. For all age and even for those with less experience on trails and for children.
There are also other more dificult trails within 20-30 min car ride.
An ofcorse a lot of beautifull mountains, a lot of them are above 2000m. They are covered in blueberries!

The town is very nice, the skiing is even better.
The town is very nice, the skiing is even better. The only thing to keep in mind is that non-main roads are narrow and relatively steep, definitely bring your snow chains if your accommodation is a bit higher up.

We enjoyed our trip in Bad Kleinkirchheim, we went there mainly for skiing. When you get the ski pass, you have the choice to go to the thermal bath too. So we choose to go for one day in Romerbad. Pay attention, if you go to the Spa/Sauna area you have to pay in addition 20€ by person, nobody announces you and it is not written in English. Other point: you have to go naked in the Spa/Sauna area... On the prospectus is written unclothed ( we thought we can go in swimming suits). We were with our children -> so we had a not very pleasant situation and we had to pay 80€ in addition for nothing. In the Romerbad Thermal area the pools are not very big, so it doesn't worth to change a day of skiing with a day just in Thermal bath area. Enjoy skiing!

Ski centre with different ski possibilities for downhill and cross country. Very good choice for winter holiday, and summer as well.
Therme, very good restaurants, for example Landhaus Stuberl or Einkehr- Hütten-Restaurant im Tal.

Hotel breakfast was good and sufficient, fresh.... would have loved a few more egg options, but good enough. Rooms are simple but clean and good, with excellent views.... and coming back in the after noon a nice little sun spot in the basement area to enjoy a vine or beer. Hotel also has a good key system to leave the room key at the hotel with a code.
After more than ten years of family holidays in Bad Kleinkirchheim, this was the best stay we have had in this town so far. Everything great, spacious, comfortable, well equipped and clean apartment, great location close to the St. Kathrein spa, parking and of course an excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. In short, everything great!
Karnten/Nockberge is beautiful. The apartment is spacious, clean with amazing view to multiple direction. Bathroom flawless. (I tend to be picky to water pressure/temp but here it was nice) The host was kind enough to let us depart early in the morning. I strongly recommend to any family.
1. Perfect location for skiing, then go to St Katherin Therme with the family.
2. Please read the arrrival instructions in details - it's hard to find the appartment (there are 3 buildings with that address) -and the name of the appartment is different than the one on Booking.com
Whole that concept of small family hotel is good. Warm cozy atmosphere and kind staff were highlights of this stay.
Special kind was one waitress, she was the only one who always noticed problem and try to help.
With little investment and enthusiasm it can be a good hotel....
Breakfast was very good and Mrs. Petra took care that all products were avaiable all the time during breakfast. Dinner very delicious, homemade, everyday different.
Owners very nice, opened and very kind.
Hotel reneved , tastefully designed and decorated
The place is amazing, location location. Alexandra, the owner is so nice and helpful. The apartment was clean, and we had such a good time there. It's close to the supermarkets and good restaurants are located about 3-5 minutes drive from the apartment.
The appartment was clean and spacy with the view on the hill, very nice receptionist, very very very good equipped kitchen (there was everything, even the salt, pepper and sugar)!!!, possibility to have breakfast, nice blankets in the bed :)
Location of the hotel is realy nice. All emoloyees were nice and handful, if you need help or information you will get it. Apartman was nice and clean.
If I visit Bad Kleinkirchheim again, I would stay in hotel St. Oswald again
Cosy hotel, nice wellness area with Saunas and pools, charching for e-car available at fair price (but make sure not to take the pole in front of the door, that one does not belong to the hotel and is severly overpriced).
Everything was perfect: the villa, the pool and sauna, the amazing view from the terrace, and our perfect hosts.
We were a large family, and found our stay very comfortable, we didn't want to leave.
Highly reccomended!
an excellent complex, it combines everything you need for a family holiday, a ski room, a sauna, a play and study room for children, etc... Peaceful and authentic. Very close to the gondola.
.
The room was clean and whit a nice view on the ski slope. Breakefast and dinner was really good. Lot of parking space in front of hotel. The staff was really nice.
Very spacious apartment with a kitchen. Extremely nice host - we arrived with a one day delay and were not charged for the first night. Large ski storage room.
