The Geography and skiing are everyone's reason for going to Kaprun. They are both excellent. The town itself was pretty quiet in early April. Pizza shops dominated the dining seen. Some of the business had Arabic words written on their signs. I don't believe that these words were necessary for Arab travelers, but detract from the authentic alpine atmosphere. The ski lift was my favorite facility. The Aplenhaus restaurant was the best place to eat. I would avoid going up the mountain on anything but the first lift in the moringSILETTI - 10Scored 10

Skiing Kaprun / Zell am See in March is excellent but the weather can be changeable . Also can be busy on the glacier at times and the route back to the Alpincentrr can be bumping and very congested. Great apres ski options at the bottom of the maiskogelbahn . Baumbar and Paletti are particularly excellent . The Bründl shop / ski hire location at the foot of the maiskogel provide lockers which are brilliant when you finish for the day to deposit your skis and boots , change into normal shoes and hit the apres ski entertainment. Great staff here as wel , always helpful and friendly

Kaprun has a small town feel about it. Roads are kept clear and the area spotlessly clean. Everything we need for skiing or just enjoying a winter break is available. Fellow tourists and locals are all great company.

Ski area is great for all abilities as the lower slopes caters more for beginners and the upper slopes accessed via the 3K-Konnection gondola caters for all skiers. Kaprun itself has a great variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Auhof restaurant was superb for a family meal and Chilla's was great for street type food

Nice town with plenty of restaurants. Close to town is a gorge to vist along a path attached to the valley wall. And can walk along river and lake.Short drive to zell am see - lovely lake and pubs nearby. Son was working on new hydroelectric plant tunnel in town and could have stayed longer.SteveUnited Kingdom

Live music one evening was very nice as well. The pool was great for the family, warm room and nice water temperature. There are two bus stops close and free to use in Kaprun and also free if you have a ski pass to get to Sell am See but if you have skis they don't even check. Food was at a good level and you have an all you can eat buffet so it's good for those hungry teenagers.RobertCzech Republic

Lots of hotel car parking & fantastic location only a 5 min walk to the main ski lifts in Kaprun, All restaurants within a 5 min walk too. A superb breakfast choice even if a little expensive @ 25 Euro each - but was well worth it. This place is highly recommended & surrounding area and place to visit make it magical. Zel am See 15 min drive, Salzburg 1.5hrs, Kitzbuel 1.5hrs.

The Geberit shower was excellent; bed room rustic in look yet modern. Pool across the road Close to major attractions - Kaprun lakes and cable cars and the Klamm (a stunning canyon) is just a short walk away. Best of all the hotel is linked to the Kaprun/Zell summer card - so many attractions are free - such as cable cars and the Kaprun dams. This a major bonus!

Locking forced air dryer with space for 4x sets of boots per room in the ski room.

This is not very customer oriented more its money oriented. Parking for this type of a hotel should be free as a part of customer service and stay.
