For the first time holiday in Austiria.
For the first time holiday in Austiria. We had a lovely stay in the nice and clean Posthansel. The room was clean and the beds were perfect. The room had a new looking private bathroom equipped with clean towels. After waking up, with a nice mountain view, we could go downstairs for a complete breakfast. Good energy for our ski trip! Around Heiterwang there are multiple skiareas (by car ap. 10-30 min drive) in our 4 day stay we visited a different area each day. By arriving at the hotel we took a beer at the bar and get advise from the owners for the next skiing trip.KWB12Netherlands - 10Scored 10

Heiterwang is location in the valley, near to two beautiful lakes and high mountains. Has few bars and restaurants, it is close to other touristic places (for example Garmisch - Partenkirchen). Very quiet place.

Small village with picturesque views, right next to two beautiful lakes surrounded by mountains. Unlike other places this spot seems not to be overrun by tourism, which makes it an ideal place if you seek somewhere peaceful and quiet. The village itself has not an abundance of restaurants or shops, so be prepare to venture to the neighboring towns.ThomasUnited Kingdom

We stayed 1 night on our return trip to the Netherlands and visited Highline 179 the next morning. We loved the fact that the hotel has their own pizzeria and we had a lovely dinner. All staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Just a 10 minute walk to the train/bus stop and a 20 minute walk to the lake, everything was generally reachable by foot.
