The food, saunas, pools, staff, room were all amazing! I was blown away by how thoughtful and accommodating everyone was. It really was a wellness retreat for me even though I was there for work in the area.

1) The personnel was very friendly and helpful. We arrived a bit late, so they advised us to make our order immediately since the restaurant was about to close, and then we took our bags up to the room. When we came down to the restaurant, our food was served fresh and warm. 2) The room was HUGE for a family room and for the price we had paid! They explained how the heating worked, and it worked (which is often not the case in many hotels). I loved the fact that they had two sofa beds for our two kids and not one small one for them to share, which is often the case. 3) I did not eat breakfast but my husband and children did and really enjoyed it. 4) The location was very quiet.

The hotel was pristine--super clean. The rooms were large and very comfortably appointed with wonderful balconies and amazing views of the gorgeous surrounding landscape. The breakfast buffet had a nice array of breads, cereals, nuts, jam, scrambled and boiled eggs, plus sliced meats. And the coffee was excellent! Niederau is a small village with several hotels but not much else. It appeared that nearly every hotel has its own restaurant so finding food in town wasn't a problem. We went for the Almatreib in Auffauch which was about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. It's a beautiful little town to relax and enjoy the lovely views.

In a quiet location in the village of Angerberg, Kraftquelle Schlossblick is a 15-minute drive to the Hohe Salve Ski Area.

The Schlossblick has kind of an older ski chalet feel to it, but it perfectly clean. The views are incredible. From one side you have a wonderful mountain view and on the other the view of the Mariastein church. Many nice walks available around. Great breakfast. But it is the staff that makes this an excellent place to stay.
