Grossarl is a booming ski town but in June 2023 the part west of the river was essentially a huge building site. However it was great for mountain walking once away from the town itself. With a guest card (free from your accommodation) one can travel on local buses in the valley for 1 Euro per person per trip! There is a very adequate Billa supermarket.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Very friendly and supportive staff. The hotel rooms look newly renewed, the beds are comfortable and the sceneries in the mountain valley are breathtaking. The staff is friendly and very supportive, they go above and beyond when it comes to helping their guests. There was a mix-up with the room I had booked and the room I was checked into. But the staff quickly found a solution to offer us the best solution. Even at the breakfast, the staff makes sure that all the guest have what they need. This feels like a 5-star hotel, would defiantly book a stay at this hotel again.EEinarGermany - 10Scored 10

Go to the end of the road and take a walk or a horse drawn sleigh ride. It was one of the most beautiful days we had there. This was our second trip, the first was in June and we loved it without the snow.

Location is also nice, even though a bit noisy, but with closed windows it is fine, markets, climbing roots are just by 5 min walking. Restaurant with good service, food and drinks. New and modern design in rooms and hotel, enough space in rooms, beautiful view from the balcony and cool chair.

Everything is made with the attention to the details and the comfort of the guests (spa as well). There were a lot of animals near the hotel, like a small zoo with rabbits, guinea pigs, pig, geese, etc. The way to the hotel was also a lot of fun cause you need to drive on a serpentine road. :))

Rooms were big very clean and well furnished. They have also put a small fridge , fancy coffee maker and kettle with plates and cutlery which we have found this quite usable. Carmen , the owner was very helpful and excellent host . Hope we will come back again .

Finnish sauna, wet sauna, turkish hammam, spacious rest area with water beds, tea corner, everything brand new! Of course, you got bathrobe, towels etc. Good breakfast and dinner (we took half board). Clean and spacious room with balcony. Friendly staff. Parking.
