Grossarl is a booming ski town but in June 2023 the part west of the river was essentially a huge building site. However it was great for mountain walking once away from the town itself. With a guest card (free from your accommodation) one can travel on local buses in the valley for 1 Euro per person per trip! There is a very adequate Billa supermarket.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Very friendly and supportive staff. The hotel rooms look newly renewed, the beds are comfortable and the sceneries in the mountain valley are breathtaking. The staff is friendly and very supportive, they go above and beyond when it comes to helping their guests. There was a mix-up with the room I had booked and the room I was checked into. But the staff quickly found a solution to offer us the best solution. Even at the breakfast, the staff makes sure that all the guest have what they need. This feels like a 5-star hotel, would defiantly book a stay at this hotel again.EEinarGermany - 10Scored 10

Go to the end of the road and take a walk or a horse drawn sleigh ride. It was one of the most beautiful days we had there. This was our second trip, the first was in June and we loved it without the snow.

Cosy and practical appartement, fully equipped, run by friendly and helpful hosts. You'll need your car to get to the Grossarl-Dorfgastein skilifts in about ten minutes while Alpendorf (connected to larger Wagrain-Flachau area) is a short drive as well. In snowy conditions an all wheel drive on proper winter tires is recommended. It will get you up and down the mountain without having to put on chains.

They are large , modern, new, with windows to the floor, with the spectacular view on surrounding mountains and hotels. The view was like a picture. There are is large screen TV in every room, all kitchen accessories in the kitchen In the 2 bedroom apartment there is a large and modern sauna. The place itself is very quiet and is located near the main road. There is a playing room for children, and we also used the bicycle of the hotel for riding in the area. Everything is made with the attention to the details and the comfort of the guests (spa as well). There were a lot of animals near the hotel, like a small zoo with rabbits, guinea pigs, pig, geese, etc. The way to the hotel was also a lot of fun cause you need to drive on a serpentine road. :))
