Excellent location - small sub-urban community 20 minutes to center of Salzburg (very good public transport by bus); close to attractive nature sites reachable by car. Nothing much to do in Grödig, but it's perfectly situated for car travels to nearby nature attractions (and there are many within 30 min drive) and for visiting Salzburg by public transport. We made a family trip around Salzburg, but we do not like to stay in cities, so we stayed in this little village, which is just outside Salzburg. We have visited the Salt Mine in Hallein, which was wxcellent and the Untersberg, using the lift, with a very nice outlook to the area around.NorbertAustria

Bus from this hotel is brilliant as it’s at the end of the 21 bus route, to Salzburg it’s every 30 mins, sometimes every 20. We got bus to and from hotel for three days and great experience, pretty easy to find where to get it from in Salzburg on google maps - quite a few stops in the city for it. Hotel good no problems.

It is an easy drive to Salzburg, Berchtesgaden and Königssee, among other beautiful sights. The bedroom and bathroom are a little tight for space, but the mattress is comfortable and the shower is very good. There is one flight of stairs up to the apartment.
