All staff were extremely helpful whether at helping me with directions and planning my routes with the buses, serving food or coffee or unlocking the safe.
Hotel is a family run business and it shows they stick together and have solid chemistry.
Breakfast AND dinner are offered. For 35€ the dinner was exceptional, delicious and nutritious. You can have the best of both those worlds.
Normally accommodation pillows and myself don’t mix, but in this case they did. The pillow I slept on was super comfy. I never woke up during the night before actually waking up.
Sauna for those who like that sort of recovery after a hard day of skiing.
For over 600 CAD for four nights including breakfast during New Year’s is an absolute bargain. You’ll never in a million years find that in St. Anton or Ischgl during this time.

Loved the kindness and warmth of the host Philip Matt, the location to the mountain, and apartment we stayed in. The whole family is very welcoming. For those that would complain that the apartment is too hot, that's because it's heated by floor heat which is difficult to dial in. Philip went above and beyond for my friend and I who stayed three nights. One night we arrived after the kitchen was closed, and Philip ensured we had the meals on the nightly menu to eat. The ski room is great as well, as there are forced air blowers to dry all of your gear before the next day. The bus is literally right outside the front door, and you're at the lift in 10 minutes (maybe less). No need to drive anywhere after you arrive. Enjoy a drink, cigar, and relax as you're on holiday! The view from the apartment isn't the area you would normally ski, but still is great to stare at during the day. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, and plan on doing so whenever St Anton is the destination.

The hotel is much more than 3-stars. The facilities are great (sauna, ski room etc.) The staff is extra-helpfull - takes care of every need you might think about (pick you up from train station, take care of a taxi if you need, provide all needed information and recommendations etc.)
Surrounded by the Arlberg Mountains, the Bacherhof is a family-run guest house in a quiet location in Bach, a district of St. Anton. Guests can reach the guest house on skis from St.
Flirsch is a convenient base for skiing the St Anton area.
Flirsch is a convenient base for skiing the St Anton area. The property is a 3 min walk with skis to the bus stop. A far more reasonably priced option than St Anton. There are no shops in Flirsch so supermarket shopping is either in St Anton or Landeck both serviced by either the ski bus or a local bus. Although there is a smaller supermarket in Pettenau where there is also a ski shop called Miet.com which again has far more reasonable equipment prices.
The apartment owner gave us a voucher to leave our skis in the lockers at Intersport close to Terminal West in St Anton which was very convenient. Excellent.
The meals were fantastic. On the day we arrived, we had an afternoon cocktail and appetizer. Fantastic!
Dinner that evening was fabulous. The sauce on our granddaughter's pasta was incredible.
The next morning's breakfast did not disappoint. The buffet held a nice variety and every item was great.
A wonderful experience all-around.
Many thanks to the Berghotel Basur.
This was our 5th ski vacation in St. Anton, and Hotel Troschana was our best accommodation in the area.
The rooms were spacious and well-maintained. The hotel staff, headed by Martin Matt, were very professional, helpful and friendly.
We booked half board. The breakfast and dinners were excellent, offering a good selection of delicious, and well-prepared dishes.
Good value for money. All you need for a nice skiing holida. Good food. Small spa. Nice staff. Skibus to St Anton every 15 min and ample storage facilities. Nice bar and Austrian themed restaurant with traditional and international cuisine. International guests.
Brand new renovated rooms. General big makeover of the hotel. Homepage shows old images before renovation. Great kitchen - almost real gourmet. Great wine card - especially good variety of Auatrian wines. Very hospitale staff and management.
Treatment from everyone was what I liked the most. They even opened the breakfast for us one hour before the day of our departure! The hotel was super cozy and the food excellent! We will definitely come back! Thank you!!
We loved the house. It is cozy and well decorated. It comfortably fit our group of 12. It was well located with easy access to St. Anton by ski bus. Would recommend to anyone looking to vacation in the Arlberg.
Lovely hotel with excellent facilities, great food and friendly and helpful staff. 5 of us stayed for a week in February 2024. The hotel is close to the ski bus stop, so getting on the mountain was easy too.
