This locality is the "snow corner of the Tiro" - it has snow in the valley when other resorts don't. The landscape and the village environments are beautiful and relatively without commercial architecture. The main ski-resort is brilliant - linked to Saalbach - Hin and also family friendly; Go to fantastic InterSport Gunther in the Fieberbrunn town for best value ski hire and apparel. Nearby St Jakob Buchansteinwand small ski area is great for learning and families and excellent value - get ski hire at the lift for best value. It has a family theme park and wonderful langlauf and touring territory as well as the Jakobskreutz - A massive "Cross" building on top of the Buchenstand mountain that can be seen for miles.

Two Wishes
Two Wishes 1) The bill from the hotel does not show the bid price from booking.com. You have to add different items. I got the bid price finally. The billing should be improved for an easy check. 2)Coronavirus disease In Tirol is since February the coronavirus disease. My information is, that in our hotel no guest has had the disease. When we left Austria on March 14, we were asked from the German government to go in a two-week quarantine. I would be helpful for us to know if there was a guest with coronavirus disease in the hotel during our stay or a week before. Please take the strong position from Booking.com to get this information. This information is important for the assessment, if we have the disease Please provide the information as soon as possible Best regards.

Our hostess was very friendly and helpful particularly with our poor grasp of the Austrian language- her English was very good and she had a lovely sense of humour. The room was clean, comfortable with a balcony and great shower. Local restaurants were within walking distance and there was plenty of different choices. We were lucky to see the start of the KAT100 mountain trail race too.

The Gasthaus had a friendly atmosphere with excellent service. Live entertainment one evening. They decorated our table and provided a cake for a birthday celebration. We were the only English there and everyone was very inclusive. A family run hotel that is worthy of supporting. We loved it. Thanks to the family.

Breakfast was very good with a plenty of choices. Ski depot at the lift is also useful. The wellness area was amazing. I can recommend the Halbpension, great food for breakfast and dinner. Mixture of local dishes and diverse cuisines. Our waitress was so nice which made the whole experience so delightful!

Well equipped, comfort and with many small details which make your stay pleasant. Sauna is a bit small, but the oven is great - 100 grad in 30 minutes. The slopes in the Fieberbrunn-Saalbach-Hinterglemm resort are very well connected. Parking under a shelter - in winter this is a big advantage. A host who knows the region well and knows about mountains and skiing. I highly recommend it for a ski trip.
