Elbigenalp is ideal for walking/hiking holidays.
Elbigenalp is ideal for walking/hiking holidays. There are several alms within an hour or two hiking, often through spectacular scenery. Height differences range from an easy 200 m to 400 m, or up to 700 m if you have more time and energy. The bus running along the valley allows you to make one-way walks, or to start a walk in a different village. The river Lech is also a peaceful refuge, and it is very pleasant just to sit on a bench or rock beside the river and enjoy the sounds and sights.

Very cheerful and welcoming owners, excellent breakfast. Hotel in quiet position but excellent for access to some of the best walks, and right opposite good supermarket. Dog friendly (supplement). Easy parking. Small bar area with drinks on honesty basis.
