Small town in the middle of the mountains offering everything you need. Be aware, shops are closed on Sundays and make sure you get your fuel there before hitting the motorway which can have a lot higher prices on fuel.
The hotel is brand new and you can feel that. The hotel itself follows the general trend on those new functional hotels popping up in different places - clean open design, no bells and whistles, but functionality and efficiency seems to be the main objective for hotel infrastructure and design. Like it very much. Location is very easy to reach, rooms and breakfast reasonable. Bar is friendly too. Staff is very polite and human, but one can note they still trying to find their way around. No problem with that. Thank you all we met there.
It is a beautiful place, near the centre of Bischofshofen but also on the edge of the forest. The house itself is beautiful as well. Very clean, pretty big and overall extremely quaint. Johann is a truly friendly host who didn’t mind our late check-in (we had train delays) and picked us up from the station. Bonus: there’s a pretty garden with a bbq. In conclusion: no complaints at all.
Location is five-six km outside Bischofshofen, high up on the mountain above the city. The drive is steep, the view from Obergut is no less than beautiful: overlooking the Valley below surrounded by the towering Alps. The room is simple but good, small effective bathroom, good bed and a balcony with a prime view. Very good place for pets.
The apartment is located in Buchberg - a small village near Bischofshofen. It's peaceful and quiet and there is a view on alps from the apartment. The owner is very nice and was very patient with me :) I liked very much that the apartment is nicely decorated and furnished and also is very clean.
Everything at this hotel is nice. The laundry rooms were unexpected. Not cheap but not many places have a similar offer. They have an amazing kids room at the lobby. The family rooms were gorgeous and all windows are perfectly insulated so you don’t even realise you’re by the train tracks
The room is very big, clean, and great facilities. The hotel area is very beautiful. After long drive and checked in, we made a walk in the forest, then had dinner at hotel’s restaurant. The food was very delicious. Also breakfast is very great.
The rooms looks great, the breakfast is excellent, and the location was convenient for drives to different attractions in Austria, while still sleeping in the same hotel for a few nights.
BTW, Some of the rooms even has a small place to cook!
