Biberwier is part of the Zugspitze area, just after the border with Germany. You have to pass part of the Fernpass and that is sensitive to traffic jams but in general, easy to access. Biberwier is a small village but in the neighbourhood, there a sufficient place for dinner and drinks.

It's a small quiet village, very close to Lermoos and Ehrwald. You can walk all around in the fields, hike up the mountains or cycle. Only problem was to walk there in the night, as the fields are completely dark and there is no lighted path between the villages.
Still, the biodiversity of the Zugspitze Arena is quite impressive and there are lots of beautiful views around.

We thought going up the Zugspitze via the Austrian side was better. Fewer crowds, and a more rural setting than Garmisch. And the platform at the top is continuous with that of the German side. There were a couple of small towns in addition to Biberwier nearby, and all were pleasant, with good restaurants and grocery stores.
The apartment was very clean, thats expected. It was also very nicely decorated. Loved the feeling that someone took all that effort. Kitchen was stocked with lots of dishes, spatulas, pots and appliances. Ample toilet paper, handwash and towels in the bathroom.
Top notch location. Grocery stores, shell petrol pump, bus station are close. We could park in the parking of the hotel opposite to the house. Excellent view from our apartment.
Interaction with the host was also very enjoyable.
I would come back and also recommend to all.
The hotel was conveniently located near the slopes, ski school, rental center and lift. Also, the hotel even had a convenient place to store ski equipment.
The breakfast was pretty reasonable and plentiful. The hotel had varying dinners each night so this was also refreshing.
There was a pool and game room for for children. I enjoyed hearing the children running around having a good time-definitely family friendly.
Another plus was the free parking!
We loved this apartment. We have been staying in this area for the past 10 years and this was by far the best quality accommodation. Super clean, lovely hosts (who speak excellent English), well equipped and spacious. We always hire a car but great facilities and the ski bus are all within walking distance. Perfect ski break in this beautiful area in the Tirol. We will be back!
The hotel staff was very friendly, and surprisingly - very young. During our entire stay, we were greeted and escorted with a smile. Breakfast was good, you could say standard, so there was enough for the table. The room was clean, standard. Reccomend to try local beer and very good schnitzel
The hotel itself (except for the sofa) is nice and clean, cozy rooms, although mine was under the roof and only had a light window. Has a restaurant with very friendly staff and a billiard room, if you want one.
Breakfast is quite OK, you've got all the basic things you need.
A lot of space due to the big table and the three sofas! Modern design, separate toilet and a lot of light through the windows. Separate entrance to the apartment and separation from the hotel rooms allowed to also be a bit noisier without disturbing the other guests.
Overall, Biberwier is a fantastic destination for a chalet stay, offering a perfect balance between relaxation and outdoor adventure. I hope you had a wonderful time and were able to enjoy everything this beautiful village has to offers.
I travel very often, but such nice ladies at the reception is a pleasure to meet. smiling and very kind and helpful. Value them!
Perfectly equipped hotel in a modern style, incl. sauna and swimming pool
Very good buffet dinner
A truly unique hotel which felt more like staying at a boutique spa. Good location and fabulous BBQ the night we arrived. I don’t usually like staying in the same place twice but this is one place I would like to return to!
The bed is comfortable, the breakfast is great, the hotel and staff are really nice, the swimming pool was also a high point and the region is impressive.
