I've been visiting Bad Hofgastein for 12 years in the summer holiday, and with every visit it gets a bigger space in my heart. Plenty of memories, plenty of relaxation, plenty of beautiful and peaceful sceneries, and every year people are being nicer and sweeter. We visited the thermal pool, the minimum stay is 4 hours, which is probably little bit too long, but the water was nice and warm, outdoor pool with a mountain view. Shops available. Petrol station available. Skilift right at the center. It’s nice little town.
It’s nice little town. If you like skiing and bathing in one of spa areas, then you will enjoy. Not lot of restaurants and good ones are always reserved so you need to prebook if you want to have lunch or dinner. It wasn't good · I was looking for dog-friendly accommodation, I wanted to relax, spend 2 quiet nights, but there weren't too many appreciable positives, it probably nuances things a bit, that's what happened. My dog is 9 months old, going to school, this has never happened before at home and in other environments, but when I left the room he chewed on the leg of the chair. The photos I attached show how much. It was probably a new place for him and that’s why it happened. I also immediately received the email that damage had occurred, the invoice was sent. I also attached the invoice to the photos. They sent me an invoice for € 162.80 and asked if they could deduct it from my credit card. I wrote to agree on an amount, I’m very happy to pay, but that’s maybe a little much. Then the next day I noticed that the amount had been deducted from my bank account without my permission. Anyone who wants to go with a dog, I don’t think so, because it can happen at any time. But I don't recommend the hotel even without a dog. Disgusting attitude!

Our suite was fantastic, stylish and super comfortable. Wellness area and outdoor pool was perfect after a day on the slopes. Ski lift can be reached with a bus or 10 minutes walk. Friendly and helpful staff. Wish we could stay longer :) Easy to recommend.

We were here in September and it was lively there in the evening. Spa area in the hotel is a good choice to relax. The room was spacious and our balcony had a terrific view of surrounding natural beauty with mountain scenery. We enjoyed the half board with plenty of choice.
