Very quiet and clean. Location near the road, 15 min by car to Hallstatt and 15 min to thermal complex in Bad Ischl. The host is very friendly and nice. Free parking. Very comfortable bed, excellent place to sleep. Nice rustikal view from the balcony. Teapot in the room is nice. Everything looks new. Perfect for a weekend trip to Salzkammergut.

Small town, 10 min from Hallstatt and lake, and 15 min from Dachstein Krippenstein (Mamoth and Ice caves, Glacier and mass of tracks...) Much easer and chipper to stay at Bad Goisern. You have in mind that everything is closed after 7 PM, so do shopping and have dinner before... or eat pizza...

about 10 kilometers to Hallstatt and could stay at this hotel in heart of Jungle and eat Breakfast and go to city of Hallstatt then come back and go to pool and sauna for getting relax and stay at Balcony for book reading or doing your jobs. the problem was internet which was very weak and we have to use our mobile cellular.

We liked the shower and toilet, it is different from other hotels, and the towels are of a different color, not white. The pension is clean and pleasant, it is located in a small community that is close to everything and a few kilometers from Hallstatt. Breakfast is average, nothing out of the ordinary. The family that runs it is friendly and if you talk to them they will surprise you with their hospitality. I recommend it.GuerraGermany

BG is an easy walk down the hill about 20 mins - good supermarkets, pharmacy, bank, cafe and restaurant in the village is awesome with its own bar and bakery! Walking distance to train station if you want to visit Hallstatt. Bad Goisern is beautiful village as well with amazing little pubs and restaurants. I love it. I would happily stay there again and spend more time in the village. People there are really friendly and speak basic English everywhere so communication is really easy.

The hostel is just 5 mins. on foot from its town square. I went there during the offseason, so I was pretty much alone in the whole facility. The place offers a good kitchen, clean bathroom and comfortable beds. Considering the rates in the area it is a really good value for money. Checking was seemless and the host was very nice. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was all an experience. The people that work here and the owners were super friendly with us. Luisa helps us in all that we needed and she speaks english perfectly well! A towel was included with the price of the stay. The showers by the kitchen were the best showers I've ever used in a hostel. Really interesting shower heads. The bed was comfortable.
