The accommodation had great view and the balcony was so Cousy, I could sit whole evening there to spend some quality time. The location is beautiful and relaxing. My kids enjoyed lot. Small town, 10 min from Hallstatt and lake, and 15 min from Dachstein Krippenstein (Mamoth and Ice caves, Glacier and mass of tracks...) Much easer and chipper to stay at Bad Goisern. You have in mind that everything is closed after 7 PM, so do shopping and have dinner before... or eat pizza...

Wonderful quiet place, with easy access to many of the touristic attractions of this beautiful region of Austria. A really nice and more economic alternative to Hallstatt, which is beautiful but in very big demand during the holiday seasons.

about 10 kilometers to Hallstatt and could stay at this hotel in heart of Jungle and eat Breakfast and go to city of Hallstatt then come back and go to pool and sauna for getting relax and stay at Balcony for book reading or doing your jobs. the problem was internet which was very weak and we have to use our mobile cellular.

She also had plenty of brochures and information/maps to help explore on your own. Maria Theresia is centrally located in Bad Goisern with a lot of little restaurants nearby. You are also very close to other parts of the Salzkammergut region which made this the perfect home base. There is an adventure park and playground next to the hotel, which is ideal for families with children. The family room- 2 large double beds side by side, was comfortable and clean. We were at the end of March, heating was on, not cold. The toilet is separate from the bathroom, both were clean. The bathroom had all the amenities promised at the time of booking. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is delicious.
