As the world’s largest diamond-cutting city, Antwerp (Anvers in French) is naturally affluent. It comes as no surprise then that fashion is also of utmost importance, so the shopping here is excellent. It may not be the cheapest place, but the quality certainly matches the price.
Another big business in Antwerp is the port, one of Europe’s largest. Take a cruise around to admire its scale. The Scheldt River leads from the port into the city, and on its banks are a handful of interesting museums and Het Steen, a medieval castle built to protect the city against Viking invasions.
A few streets back is the Grote Markt, a beautiful square flanked by the grand town hall and 16th-century guildhouses – a typically Belgian scene. Behind this is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Antwerp Cathedral, whose asymmetrical towers look down over Groenplaats, a tranquil square filled with pavement cafes. Belgian beer is legendary and the local brew is De Koninck, which packs quite a punch.
In the south of the city is the most unusual sight – Wilrijk’s huge Jain Temple, one of the largest outside India. A little further east is Antwerp Airport, efficiently connected by public transport to the Antwerp hotels, guesthouses and apartments that are available on Booking.com.
Busy, bustling place with lots to see and do. Trendy docklands, the Old Town with its square and Cathedral. The Het Stein castle, a remnant of medieval times, art galleries for art buffs, a museum dedicated to the diamond trade, fashion museum. Lots of places to eat to suit all pockets and more varieties of beer than you can imagine! The main train station is spectacular and the only triple decker station I have ever seen. Cheap trams work well once you suss the routes, bicycles to hire everywhere.
Loved it!

Take the walking/cycling tunnel under the river - great experience and a lovely walk along the left bank.
If you are in Antwerp on Saturday or Sunday, I highly recommend the Handelsbeurs - stunning architecture and interesting history.

If you're flying into Antwerp, I highly recommend paying a visit to a restaurant located approximately a 15-minute walk from the airport called "Jardin Public". From there, you can catch a tram to the Central Station. In my opinion, the highlights of the trip were definitely the Central Station and the Central Square.
Getting around Antwerp is fairly easy, but you also have the option to rent bicycles or use electric scooters. For dinner, we opted for The Eleventh Commandment / Elfde Gebod and were impressed by the delicious food and speedy service.
I would have loved to extend my stay if possible; perhaps a minimum of a 3-day trip would be ideal. On the return journey to the airport, I opted to take an Uber for convenience.

Lovely historic centre, quiet and so easy to get around on foot.
Really enjoyed the Plantine Moretus Museum, the riverside walk, The Museum of Fine Arts.
Found some great places to eat, all with friendly helpful staff
The hotel is perfectly located for exploring all of Antwerps as it is close to the train station as well as parking garages and also the inner city with all the sights. The room was small but very comfortable and quiet, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the reception and breakfast area has a good atmosphere and provides views of the city. I'd definitely look the hotel up the next time I'll be visiting Antwerp.
this was our first time in Antwerp and we really had a wonderful time. The property is very close to the train station which we were happy about the hotel was a great value. It was a bit of a walk to the old city, but we loved Antwerp and enjoyed every minute. The hotel was super clean very customer oriented and had the right amenities. We had free coffee in the lobby. Nice coffee maker in our room. Wonderful shower.
Great location with easy access to Antwerp center on foot and to other areas by tram. Nice vibe and amenities in lobby, including umbrellas for guest use, wine and snacks in the afternoon/evening, and luggage storage. Rooms are very small and very basic, like a stripped down version of a boutique hotel. Not a luxe place to stay, but clean, comfortable, and convenient. I would stay there again.
Staff very friendly and helpful, hotel very clean and modern, room was plenty big enough with double sized shower and generous 5 ft double bed which was very comfortable. Hotel very centrally located for Antwerp, 5 mins walk to Centraal Station and lots of pubs and restaurants. There’s also a transport hub right outside the door yet I was not at all disturbed by any night time noise.
The Hotel is across the street from the Antwerp Centraal Train Station. An easy walk to Museum and attractions. The room was large and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and the shower excellent. The breakfast was exceptional as is the case with NH Hotels. Antwerp is an exciting city with notable museums and loads of people from all over the world.
The hotel is well located next to the Antwerp Centraal Train Station and next to China town. A stroll to the Schelde river should take you 25 to 30 min by foot. The room was much larger and roomier than expected. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The lady at the reception was polite and very helpful.
Hotel is very conveniently located next to antwerp central station, close to shopping centre meir, as well as alot of places to eat in the same street! It is very busy outside but i didnt hear aby outside noise from inside the hotel
The staff are very friendly and helpful aswell!
The hotel is very well located between the train station Antwerpen Centraal and the city center. The room is perfect for two people, it's cosy and has all the amenities that one might need during the stay. Moreover, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. I recommend it!
This property is close to the Central station and is well situated to access public transport. Access to the tourist attractions in Antwerp is easy from the hotel. Amenties in the apartment were above expectations. Very comfortable and well equipped for self-catering.
Beautiful hotel and right on Antwerp Central station. 360 degree lounge and bar was superb. Room was big and comfortable with a bath and all amenities were present. Breakfast was also excellent and very elaborate.
Modern clean hotel. Very central - bonus being right next door to Antwerp Centraal station. Good access to transport links and main shops. 24/7 reception and snack/drinks bar good to have at all times.
The hotel is close to the very impressive Antwerp railway station and therefore easy to get to. Our room was a reasonable size and comfortable, and overlooked a central courtyard.
Location is very central, next to the central station and with all major attractions close by. There are nicer neighbourhoods in Antwerp, but the hotel is really easy to reach.
A modern and clean hotel with great facilities. Close to the tram station and Antwerpen Centraal Station so moving around is easy. The staff are great, polite and really nice.
Right in the middle of Antwerp 5 min walk from the station and about 15 minute walk from the centre. Really nice hotel and extremely friendly staff and cleaning staff.
A very nice place to stay in Antwerp. It's located not far from central station and walking distance to city center. The hotel is modern and has a good vibe.
A nice hotel located in the heart of Antwerp and very close to the train station. Very very good place for Tourist and people looking to catch train on time
