As the world’s largest diamond-cutting city, Antwerp (Anvers in French) is naturally affluent. It comes as no surprise then that fashion is also of utmost importance, so the shopping here is excellent. It may not be the cheapest place, but the quality certainly matches the price.
Another big business in Antwerp is the port, one of Europe’s largest. Take a cruise around to admire its scale. The Scheldt River leads from the port into the city, and on its banks are a handful of interesting museums and Het Steen, a medieval castle built to protect the city against Viking invasions.
A few streets back is the Grote Markt, a beautiful square flanked by the grand town hall and 16th-century guildhouses – a typically Belgian scene. Behind this is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Antwerp Cathedral, whose asymmetrical towers look down over Groenplaats, a tranquil square filled with pavement cafes. Belgian beer is legendary and the local brew is De Koninck, which packs quite a punch.
In the south of the city is the most unusual sight – Wilrijk’s huge Jain Temple, one of the largest outside India. A little further east is Antwerp Airport, efficiently connected by public transport to the Antwerp hotels, guesthouses and apartments that are available on Booking.com.

Lots to do - in the 2 days we were there, we visited Antwerp zoo, Chocolate Nation and the Illusion Antwerp. All were brilliant and there was a wide variety of food establishments to choose from including well known brands and independents.

If you're flying into Antwerp, I highly recommend paying a visit to a restaurant located approximately a 15-minute walk from the airport called "Jardin Public". From there, you can catch a tram to the Central Station. In my opinion, the highlights of the trip were definitely the Central Station and the Central Square.
Getting around Antwerp is fairly easy, but you also have the option to rent bicycles or use electric scooters. For dinner, we opted for The Eleventh Commandment / Elfde Gebod and were impressed by the delicious food and speedy service.
I would have loved to extend my stay if possible; perhaps a minimum of a 3-day trip would be ideal. On the return journey to the airport, I opted to take an Uber for convenience.

The museum and the cathedrals were magnificent. The restaurants were excellent and there is a wide variety of different ethnic restaurants to choose from. The restaurants ranged in price from very reasonable priced to some excellent but expensive restaurants.

Female are sleeping in cheap but comfortable 4-beds rooms while male can rent a room with bathroom and king bed more expensive but still reasonable. People from outside are not allowed in unless they check-in. Nice bar with very good beers and a pool & dart room with can be used as well as kitchen and garden. Good combination for the peace of mind.

fashionable city, so many great master pieces to see in Antwerp Royal Museum, you may spend 3-5 hours to explore the new decorated museum.
Museum Van den Bergh is very worthy to visit for museum fans.
There's a lovely cafe on the ground floor of the hotel that serves food from morning to early evening. The food offered there was well priced, appeared freshly made and was delicious. It was also close to Antwerp train station (don't underestimate the walk like I did), trams and the airport transfer to Brussels Airport.
There was also a microwave, sink and fridge on the ground floor as well as a computer and pool table I believe.
The location is unbeatable. It is in Antwerp city center. A lot of the sights are within a 1-2km radius. The shower had good hot running water, which is a must in the winter. The staff was also polite and accommodating as we were able to ask for extra pillows and they let us leave our luggage.

The location & cleanliness. Hotel is walkable from the Antwerp Centraal Station, made our trips in other Schengen areas to & from Antwerp easy to manage. Cleanliness is superb. The hotel is also near the supermarkets, just as you walk out of the lobby! Thank you. It was a great stay.
The location was very convenient, very close to the station, a bit of a walk to the centre but we probably could have used public transport. Antwerp itself is a fascinating city with an interesting history. The hotel staff were all extremely helpful.
A very new hotel 5 minutes away from Antwerp Central Station. There’s a lot of space to make the room especially the bathroom more comfortable.
Laundry was free so it’s extra perk. I really like the lounge area & outdoor space behind the check in.
It is a quickly accessible, cheap and safe hotel with passable amenities that seemed clean. I was able to book immediately for that night when I was stranded in Antwerp and it was easily accessible from the train station.
Convenient hotel in Antwerp. Close to the station and the main shopping street, Meir. Staff were very friendly, beds comfy. Bathroom clean and breakfast plentiful and tasty.
amazing location right by Antwerp Central station. you can tell the hotel is a bit outdated, but the facilities work just fine, with comfortable beds and a nice shower
Clean room, friendly staff, good facilities, wonderful breakfast. Exactly what I expect from a hotel. Location is good. 3 minutes from a P+R to Antwerpen city centre.
Really wonderful Hotel in the middle of Antwerp, We loved the SPA facilities and our room (Junior Suite) had the most comfy beds. The room was also very clean.
Easy, comfortable hotel for business travelers. Location is great when you need to take a train in Antwerp - Berchem. You do not suffer from train / car noise.
