This is a very nice hotel and I would love to come back, given the right sircumstances. The rooms was spacious, the bathroom was large and clean and the bar was nice. The breakfast was average in variation, but good in standard. The scenary was very nice and I was happy to be offered parking in front of the hotel.

Breakfast was really good, you can also order eggs (fried, scrambled, etc) and they bring it to your table.
You will also receive a ticket to use the Wald Bahn for the duration of your stay.
The rooms were very clean and orderly.
The staff very always smiling and very friendly.

The town itself is not really a tourist magnet and there...
The town itself is not really a tourist magnet and there aren't many sights to see in the town itself, except maybe for the glass factory and museum. But the position in the Bavarian forest makes it ideal for day trips, with and without kids. And for a lazy day, there's always the Stadtpark with the playground.

Small yet charming town in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Bavarian Forest. Perfect starting point for hiking, biking, or even train journeys through the surrounding hills and meadows. The town is littered with good restaurants - both Bavarian and foreign - Greek, Italian, Thai... there is a lot to choose from.

Very comfortable bed and everything you need in the room. Super tasty breakfast with a variety of dishes. Lunch was buffet style and dinner was like in the best restaurant with appetizer, main course and dessert. Food was fresh and delicious. Spa area with saunas and pool were very nice in the evening. It is large, very clean and fully equipped, with direct access to the garden.The owners live upstairs and were always very friendly and ready to help. The garden can be used fully, including the pavilion and the swing. Parking is available on the premises and is free of charge. Central location next to the train station, yet a very quiet area. I did not hear any noise from the street, just the birds singing in the garden. Very nice breakfast, good coffee, delicious homemade jam. Nice restaurant, excellent food. Unfortunately, I stayed only one night and I did not have a chance to use the wellness zone. Hopefully I can enjoy it during my next visit. :-)

Parking was directly in front of the hotel. We had a very nice view of the neighboring village and surrounding hills. The area was beautifully green and calm, with lots of walking trails nearby.
