The town itself is not really a tourist magnet and there...
The town itself is not really a tourist magnet and there aren't many sights to see in the town itself, except maybe for the glass factory and museum. But the position in the Bavarian forest makes it ideal for day trips, with and without kids. And for a lazy day, there's always the Stadtpark with the playground.

Small yet charming town in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Bavarian Forest. Perfect starting point for hiking, biking, or even train journeys through the surrounding hills and meadows. The town is littered with good restaurants - both Bavarian and foreign - Greek, Italian, Thai... there is a lot to choose from.

The apartment itself is on the first floor, has a living room with kitchinette and 2 bedrooms which are well sized. Each room has all the necessary furniture and the kitchinette is well equipped. It is large, very clean and fully equipped, with direct access to the garden.The owners live upstairs and were always very friendly and ready to help. The garden can be used fully, including the pavilion and the swing. Parking is available on the premises and is free of charge. The room (two-room suite for family) was quite spacious and the beds great for us two adults and three children. Big TVs, plenty of sofas for sitting and lounging. The staff was mostly friendly. Parking was directly in front of the hotel. We had a very nice view of the neighboring village and surrounding hills. The area was beautifully green and calm, with lots of walking trails nearby. Perfect for a relaxing getaway.
