The location was nothing short of amazing, I had one of the balcony rooms and was in love with the view! Breakfast spread was lovely and had a wonderful coffee machine. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming.
Enjoying a remote location in the heart of the Black Forest, this guest house is a 15-minute drive from the town of Triberg.

Only truly interesting thing about the town of Triberg are the waterfalls. Other than that, the place has been spoiled by the overly touristy, quasi-Disneyland feel. The are much prettier and more interesting villages to visit in the Black Forest than this. On the other hand, it’s a good base if what you want to do is go hiking. Natural surroundings are great.

So many cool things to do and see in Triberg.
So many cool things to do and see in Triberg. We walked up to the main waterfall, strolled the main street, and bought a nice cookoo clock, designed and hand carved in shop. At night we parked on a back road under the stars and enjoyed no light pollution, taking in the amazing night sky view! Definitely recommend a visit to this Schwarzwald town!

The waterfall is worth the climb, and great that it's included in the guest card issued by the hotel. We also visited the Black Forest museum, which was interesting, although unfortunately our German wasn't good enough to read much of the information with the exhibits. The scenery is lovely.

The Black Forest is beautiful and Triberg is a charming town...
The Black Forest is beautiful and Triberg is a charming town, if maybe a little tourist-kitschy. There are not a lot of really good dining options -- Cafe Tresor is the only standout -- but there is a really nice grocery store, Edeka, right in the middle of town. The much-hyped waterfall is worth the short but steep hike. It's a good location to explore other towns and attractions.
Very cozy little hotel in the heart of the city. The cafe on the first floor is very popular and have a big assortiment of cakes and chocolates. It is nice to have a coffee and cake pause. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The parking is not expensive.
The Triberg waterfalls in the walking distance and it is free admission with guests crt provided by hotel. The guest cart also give free access to some local places such as Ski lifts, museums, etc..
The apartment is very nice and spacious, looks newly renovated and very well designed. The kitchen is well equipped (except from some basic groceries that could have been nice to have...). The host was super nice and helpful and also put some snacks and sweets for us :) We will definitely be happy to stay there again whenever we visit Triberg.
The Ketterer Hotel is a family run business that was exceptionally clean. The family was extremely helpful in answering questions about the train, bus and internet. The food was excellent and the view from the dining room was beautiful. The hotel is located close to dining, waterfalls and shopping. I highly recommend this hotel.
Location is good with a decent view and great breakfast, but toilet was smelly. The hotel manager gives a Triberg tourist card which you can use to visit waterfalls, triberg-land, and the museum - all just few meters away from the hotel.
The staff was so helpful! The hotel is lovely and in the perfect spot in Triberg. There is a common room with books, games, and comfortable seating and a lounge with drinks available 24/7. Breakfast was great with a lot of options.
The location is unbeatable! Central to the snall town of Triberg, walking distance to everything, great parking options, and for those who are looking to save some money by cooking a few meals, Edeka is right across the street.
This is a beautiful property with an amazing staff! We were some of their first guests after their grand reopening and everything was top notch. The location is perfect for touring Triberg. Definitely would come back!

The location of the hotel was fantastic, and the breakfast was excellent, unfortunately, we did not have time to make use of the Spa, but it was also under renovation. The room was comfortable nd very large
Central to Triberg. Shops and restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. Just a short distance walk to the waterfalls. Free parking for guests. Loved the decorations. Showers and bathrooms were clean.
Great location for visiting the waterfalls and seeing the local shops. The owner was happy to let us check in early and leave our luggage in the room and go see the falls.
The employees were very patient with me and spoke both German and English!! Easy walk to the Triberg Waterfall (free ticket for all parties with your hotel stay!)
