Torfhaus is surrounded by the Harz-area which is well-known for it's accessible hiking trails. It's very enjoyable to 'climb' the 1141 metres high Brocken or take a ride by steam train and enjoy the 360º-view.

Very nice reception employees.
Very nice reception employees. Beautiful location in the middle of the national park. Beautiful view of the Brocken mountain. Room was good, everything what you need is there, but small. Breakfast was in another building.
