It's a beautifull place, this is the second time in the areau for me. I would recommend these great places: the Hassenhorn summer coaster (action), Todtnau Watterfall, various hiking routes (sport/nature), Freibad Schönau or Todtnau for swimming, Wutachsluchte (beautifull nature!!), Freidburg old city, Europapark.

It is a perfect centre for walking in the Black Forest and has lots of atmosphere in the panelled dining room with cuckoo clock and cosy corners. The food is excellent and there is an extensive wine list of local wines.
