Great place to spend the night . Not really in Schalkau but actually 5.5km. away in Theuern which can be a bit upsetting when on bicycles . Backtracked an extra 11km. but the place was worth it .
Large room with great views of the fields and mountains. Room very clean and bright with two large windows . Nice bathroom with great shower . On-site restaurant was very good with reasonable price point and friendly service . Good inside bike storage Nice complete breakfast as well .
