Sebnitz is a lovely old town that sits within a valley of rolling hills near the Saxon Switzerland National Park. We loved it here because it gave you a feel of times gone by. It's a relatively quiet town and come 6pm the place feels empty. It was a great place to base ourselves to do day trips, hiking, exploring castles and incredible scenery. While there we visited the Bastei, Konigstein Fortress, The Cow Shed and Stolpen Castle. The beautiful city of Dresden is not far away as well. We found the bus and train were a great way to get around, it was reliable and always on time.

Sebnitz itself is very nice, quiet town.
Sebnitz itself is very nice, quiet town. It’s perfect location for touring Sächsische Schweiz, close to Schmilka and Hinterhermsdorf and other places from where you can take hiking trip. It has its special atmosphere, you do not feel that everyone is rushing as it is usually now. Good place to ease down a bit.

- 9.1Scored 9.1WonderfulRated wonderful· 15 reviewsI highly recommend this place. the apartment is clean, really tidy and has a very well-equipped kitchen. very large comfortable bed. the advantage is that it is an apartment and not a hotel room, so it is quiet, you cannot hear other guests. 2 minutes to the bus stop (we got a discount on public transport in the apartment) and the owner speaks English, which is very helpful. additionally, a sauna - it's a great atmosphere! :)AAnonymousPoland

The property was clean and surprisingly spacious. We loved the decor and equipment, especially in the kitchen. Car is a must. We were able to park round the corner at a makeshift parking lot free of charge since we were provided with a parking permit.
