The town is beautiful! There’s a lot to do in the area. I definitely recommend taking the boat tour across the lake to both Salet and St. Bartholoma. The hikes at both were incredible! There are several shops and restaurants near the lake with a lot of options for food and souvenirs. There’s a lot of parking as you get close to the waterfront. I do recommend getting there early though as the lots do fill up. Bring some coins for the parking meter as well. Definitely recommend a trip here!AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

What a beautiful place to spend time! The weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, the people were nice, and my husband and I enjoyed it so much. We can't wait to visit again because there is so much more to experience!

When planning to visit Königssee, there could not be a Moree lovely place to stay. The lady who runs the house couldn't have been more helpful. Everything is clean, tidy and neat. Breakfast - lovely.

We ate at Gaststätte Echostüberl, fish and traditional German food, everything was very tasty and the service was quick. I crossed the boat and climbed to one of the waterfalls. We visited a monastery and ate the traditional kaiserschmarrn dessert. We enjoyed the street shops on the way to the boat.

She wrote a daily note for breakfast and translated it into English for us. Every detail of the house was made with care. The view is amazing from the room (balcony). Nice surroundings. Next to the house there is a nice public playground and private parking. The shops, bakery, bus stop, restaurants are located within one km or less. There are a lot of things to do if you love nature. We only stayed 3 nights which was short.
