Always where we stay in Hersbruck! The breakfast buffet is excellent on the weekends but gets smaller as the week goes on. This is not a fried eggs and hash browns place. It's wurst, ham, cheeses, rolls/breads/cakes, fruit and muesli with coffee, tea, juices, etc. The restaurant is much improved, now managed by the owners' son, and deserves a visit. Always some wild game on the menu. Vegetarian too, if you like. Make a reservation! A bit pricey but worth it anyway. Breakfast included.

This motel is conveniently situated in Franconia, close to the Hormersdorf exit of the A9 highway running between Berlin and Munich.
