The room was very spacious. the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was good and plentiful and it is a buffet style and it is topped up quickly when anything runs low. there were 2 choices for payment of the buffet one includes just food and the next is food and all your wine and beer which is good value. There is also a swimming pool sauna and these were clean. We were a party of 16 and hired the bowling alley, it was 15 euros an hour so not much between us and it was great fun. The bus stop is at the bottom of the drive and the bus ride about 15 mins into Schmallenberg which has many shops, cafes and restaurants.

Everything you normally need at home were present there. Even if it would be disastrous weather outside and we couldn't enjoy the beautiful nature of the Sauerland we wouldn't regret, because staying in the apartment would be as recharging as we'd wish to be on a short holidays
