It's a very small place, but with enough shops to buy food and also with some restaurants. larger cities are close to Sankt Andreasberg. If you want to rest then go there in the summer, it's perfect.

There are nearby shops, restaurants and other places of amusement (hiking trails, sledding slopes, etc). Room was cleaned daily by a really nice lady and every morning we were served with an awesome breakfast spread in their breakfast room which has a very beautiful view. The owners are lovely and very attentive. From the moment we arrived to the time we checked out, they have been nothing but gracious. We felt like we visited family. We were allowed to get drinks from the bar and drink them anywhere on the property. The rooms were decently sized, the beds were fairly comfortable.
