Small town with a thriving community feel to it. Plenty of good places to eat and drink. During the summer there are cultural events happening weekly. For the walkers there are plenty of walks starting from the town nd plenty of other a short drive away. Munich, Saltsburg and Innsbruck only an hours drive away

Very nice beautiful place to stay alone or with family. I was there already more than 10 times, but wanna come back again and again! Very beautiful nature and fresh air in this place and many kilometers around in Germany and Austria- for me this is the heart of all beuatiful places in this region.

Cute little town close to lots of things to do. Hiking trails (at all levels), bike rental options (E Mountain bikes, very cool), local tourist centre for tips and 1hr drive to both Munich and Salzburg for day trips. We went in summer but it seems that this place is great in winter as well

The breakfast was lovely, and they have a great coffee machine which makes lattes, cappuccinos etc. We absolutely love Reit im Winkl and this hotel is right in the centre of town with lovely views of the town and countryside from the balconies, there was a bit of road noise but due to it’s location this is expected. The wellnes faciities were also very nice, we anjoyed our stay a lot. The food is amazing, it is worth taking the dinner because the choices are all delicious, there is something for everyone. The churchbell at 7am kept us on schedule to discover the beautiful mountains in the area.
