I loved this hotel almost from the first minute. I was met by Heike Haertinger who was amazingly pleasant and friendly. She escorted me to the breakfast room, showed me my table and informed when breakfast would be. The buffet was among the best I've had in Germany if not the best. I will definitely be going back and hopefully with friends next time.

Nice room and personnel very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very complete, with local products. The Spa was excellent: a large area with some different stations (sauna/steam) to choose. There was a cozy library room for reading.

For the walkers there are plenty of walks starting from the town nd plenty of other a short drive away. Munich, Saltsburg and Innsbruck only an hours drive away

Cute little town close to lots of things to do. Hiking trails (at all levels), bike rental options (E Mountain bikes, very cool), local tourist centre for tips and 1hr drive to both Munich and Salzburg for day trips. We went in summer but it seems that this place is great in winter as well

We checked into this hotel a little early as had travelled from Austria; Saskia the landlady was happy to do this for us and she was very friendly throughout our visit. The breakfast was lovely, and they have a great coffee machine which makes lattes, cappuccinos etc. We absolutely love Reit im Winkl and this hotel is right in the centre of town with lovely views of the town and countryside from the balconies, there was a bit of road noise but due to it’s location this is expected. The rooms are a little dated but very clean.
Probably the best view of all properties in Reit Im Winkl. We had the Whistler room and the whole top floor to ourselves. Great communication with host pre arrival and an amazingly nice welcome basket with all sorts of snacks, a bottle of wine and a home made cake...how nice is that! Location is great for hikes and bike rental in the wider area. We combined our stay with day trips to Salzburg and Munich. Our two teenage kids loved it as well and they had their own room each as the there is a pull out sofa in the living room.
Very clean rooms with comfy beds, modern wooden interior and amazing view on nearby landscape and mountains. Awesome German-style breakfast. The owners of the property are very polite, kind and helpful. There is also sauna in the hotel (included in the price), and massage (need to be booked separately).
Nearby area is full of wonderful hiking paths with wonderful picturesque views and huts where you can stay and enjoy the nature.
I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the service and care that we received.
The staff is one of the most professional staff I ever seen in my life.
Location of the hotel was wonderful just in the middle of nature.
If you want to feel like home and surrounding by family, this is the right place to go.
We decided to visit this hotel again and spend much time there .
Family run hotel with friendly staff. Pleasant room with comfy bed, couch, dining table and seating area, plus small balcony with a view Large, newly renovated bathroom. Good breakfast and restaurant for traditional Bavarian meals, reasonably priced. Centrally located and easy to walk around the small town, parking spaces provided by the hotel.
Nothing I can say would do justice to how great the hotel was, the staff, basically everything! It was the first time for our daughters in the snow. The sleds were perfect for them to move around and enjoy. The food, the setting, everything was perfect! Special thanks to the Hotel Director Rolf Wernicke who was very friendly and helpful.
We love staying here because the apartment is super comfortable, is close to all the shops and restaurants as well as the ski shuttle bus stop near the main square. We have stayed here twice and plan to do so again next season.
Breakfast was great. The location was great for cross country skiing, shopping and restaurant variety. The staff were wonderful. The food in the restaurant was great and reasonably priced.
Very nice and cosy hotel. We had the spacious appartement for a family of 4 and it was really good. Cosy Bayern decorations, nice balcony and good size rooms. Breakfast is 100%!!!!
The apartment in the cute little town of Reit im Winkl had amazing views onto the mountains, was very clean and had everything you need (including cooking appliances etc.).
The apartments were spacious and well appointed. The ski shuttle stop was just a short walk up the road and shops and restaurants were all close to the property.
