Small town with a thriving community feel to it. Plenty of good places to eat and drink. During the summer there are cultural events happening weekly. For the walkers there are plenty of walks starting from the town nd plenty of other a short drive away. Munich, Saltsburg and Innsbruck only an hours drive away

Very nice beautiful place to stay alone or with family. I was there already more than 10 times, but wanna come back again and again! Very beautiful nature and fresh air in this place and many kilometers around in Germany and Austria- for me this is the heart of all beuatiful places in this region.

Cute little town close to lots of things to do. Hiking trails (at all levels), bike rental options (E Mountain bikes, very cool), local tourist centre for tips and 1hr drive to both Munich and Salzburg for day trips. We went in summer but it seems that this place is great in winter as well

The breakfast was lovely, and they have a great coffee machine which makes lattes, cappuccinos etc. We absolutely love Reit im Winkl and this hotel is right in the centre of town with lovely views of the town and countryside from the balconies, there was a bit of road noise but due to it’s location this is expected. The staff were so very friendly, going above and beyond in accommodating us and helping us when our train arrived late, delaying our arrival at the guesthouse. The room was very big and comfortable, and an excellent value for the price. The balcony was also very relaxing with a beautiful view of the town. The location was also very central within Reit im Winkl. We had a great breakfast every morning at the breakfast buffet. We would definitely recommend adding this to your stay.

We were specially surprised about the food: even though we didn’t book “Halbpension”, we had 3 nights dinner and the quality and variety of the dinner buffet was excellent. The hotel is just 10 minutes by walking away from Reit im Winkl. The bed was very comfortable. There is a inside pool in the hotel, we used only once but we enjoyed it.
