Prüm is a little town with an historical abbey.
Prüm is a little town with an historical abbey. Nice surroundings for walkers and bikers. We had a simple but very tasteful evening meal at the "Alte Abtei" restaurant, just opposite the hotel.

Very kind staff; The room was perfect. Very quiet - I am a light sleeper, so Iam keen on quiet. We walked at Geierley Hangeseilbrucke (1:20hour drive-but worth it). Also Mullerthal (LU) is close by (1hour). We visited Trier. And had a fotoshoot in Prum with a very good photographer (PM Studio). Prum is only a 5 minute drive. We had dinner there in several restaurants. Yes this was a perfect short holiday: Recommended!JantineNetherlands

In addition, coffee and tea were available 24/24 and guests can help themselves with beer and water from a refrigerator in a common room were guests can socialize. The hotel has no restaurant of its own, but only one street-crossing is needed to find a very nice and friendly pricing restaurant 'Zur alten Abtei'. I managed to book a suite for one person instead of two but it turned out to be ok, the bed was big enough and there would have been the option of sleeping on the couch. The balcony overlooks the countryside and has some fantastics views. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The location isn't too bad, £10 for a taxi to the town center. Parking wasn't an issue, plenty of space at the back and the front of the hotel.AnitaUnited Kingdom

Monika was very helpful recommending restaurants in Prum which were really good quality, we got Karls Taxi down to the village which was a 5 minute journey. Just outside the hotel is an Ice Cream cafe serving amazing Ice Cream, there is a bar next door where we had a great meal. There is also a superb Imbiss across the road serving great value food.
