Staff was really welcoming and kind, liked it a lot - both at the front desk and in the dining room.

We booked this property as we had been visiting the Bike Week in Willingen. On arrival finding the parking space was a little confusing, however we found a great spot right next to our room which was important to us (I ride a Harley and my wife was travelling in her beloved Audi A5 Cabriolet). Despite being right next to the station there was no noise at all and it was generally a very quiet location. We chose to eat in the Restaurant and were not disappointed as the food was great. The bathroom was large with a very spacious walk in shower. The room and sleeping area was also spacious and well set out. It was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpfull. My only gripe was that the beds were set rather low for my liking ( Iam only 5´10" tall ) Breakfast was tasty and well presented, all together a very pleasant experience.

The windows and the heating were excellent.
The apartment was very clean and most of the things look rather new.

The city as such was not very impressive (at least for us) but the walks around the lake were great. On a sunny day people were sunbathing and swimming in the lake, alongside different boat sports. The area is very green, peaceful and pleasant. There are plenty of nice walks and you can really enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. We dined at Xavier Ranch (close to Meschede) and Geronimo (at Mohnesee) and both were really excellent.

Don’t be fooled by my review - even though I was visiting Meschede on a business trip, it is not possible for me to separate the town from its surroundings. I stayed in a small village outside of Meschede (in Remblinghausen), so my hotel
was located in the middle of the beautiful countryside there in beautiful green May. Meschede is a small town, but can be a great hub to get to know this pretty area of Germany.
Anja is a great host. When she saw we had booked with 9 people and reserved 3 bedrooms (and bedcoaches), she arranged an extra room for the 2 boys (19 and 21 years), for free! We were also allowed to leave the rooms a bit later due to very bad weather to visit Winterberg.
The appartment downstairs includes a bar, a long table where we could eat with 9 persons and then relaxed at the bar or in the sofa's. There is a bakery next door.
We stayed 1 night as it is a nice place to be before go skiing in Winterberg.
Excellent place for family with kids, in the wintert but also in the summer! I Kids loved indoor playground and all the free to use bikes, scooters, and other toys. We could also take a ride on the pony! All of it in the price.
The nearby Hunau ski slope is the best if you want to ride on the sledge, learn to ski or snowboard or just to chill.
We initially planned to go to teach our kids skiing in Winterberg but eventually each day landed in Hunau.
The location of the hotel was really nice but its not really a wheelchair friendly specially if you go on a lakeside. The staff were also friendly and helpful. They also granted my request of asking a small chair in the bath room. The hotel also gave us welcome drinks inside the room. The hotel restaurant location and food were ok. For the money that we pay for the food and location i can say its acceptable.
Very warm and kind hosts, amazing place for both the kids and us. A beautiful garden to play and to relax (the hottub is amazing). A lot of space in the appartement and all very clean. Lots of extra's, like a ride on the tractor around the hills, the lovely dog Josh. We enjoyed Sauerland and we'd like to come back once.
Host very helpful, they were super nice helping us to change the dates of our staying due to some inconvenience we had with our daughter. Clean place, small kitchen with everything needed for preparing a meal. Cozy and quite place, 30 minutes by car from Winterberg.
We had a wonderful few nights in this place. It is spacious, comfortable, quiet, warm and has a well-equipped kitchen. The host is friendly, helpful, and communicated well. It is not far to drive to Meschede or Winterberg & surrounds. Would recommend.
A cozy room that was ideal to rest after a long day of walking around Meschede and exploring. The staff were really friendly and the location of the hotel was quite good.
Garden; fully equipped kitchen; bed in master bedroom had a good mattress, the bathroom was okay and clean. Arrival time was flexible. Location is okay, Hennesee nearby
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Meschede with our family last Christmas. The house is beautiful. Quiet location and lovely surroundings. We would love to come back again.
A great family hotel with an excellent restaurant. A complete breakfast with the possibility to order extra. Quiet and very clean rooms with a good shower.
