Medebach is just a town, but with all the facilities you need. The - wider - (Hoch-)Sauerland area is great for all sorts of activities and even just touring - by car or motor bike - and sightseeing. Almost all year long, depending on your taste. We've been in the area when the weather was not that great - still lots to do, but cold rain all day long is not really our taste. We experienced that between (end of) February and late April three times, but last time in June, the weather was great.

As an example, we arrived late, they let us in (it was after the official check-in time), we were hungry, the owners tried to help us anyway they could, even offered to make us a sandwich! 😊😅 Besides that, they do have an EV charger in case of necessity. The place is in a very calm environment and it is perfect for relaxation. Room is of the great size and had a balcony with an outstanding view.

Great location - the apartment, but Medebach is okay too :-) - and friendly hosts. The shopping centre, including ReWe, is 5 minutes away and there are plenty of things to do in the - wider - area. As it is not a minus/negative point for us anyway, writing it here: the apartment is only accessible via an outdoor stairs, so keep that in mind as it could be an issue for others.RobertNetherlands

Very clean house with everything you need to have a perfect holiday in a peaceful and quiet environment. Hosts were also very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this accommodation for future travelers. We stayed 9 days, everything you need for groceries you can find in the town of Medebach (3 min drive).

The welcome wine was a nice gesture 😊 We went skiing in Winterberg every day and that was about 15-20 minutes one way commute which is reasonable. In a nearby town Medebach, we try restaurants Troll's Brauhaus and Da Luca which were quite good.

The room was mall but very clean and looks good. On par with a good four star hotel. The bed was comfy and there was little to no noise outside the room.
