The breakfast was nice, the staff friendly and helpful
This family-run 3-star Superior hotel is located directly next to the spa facilities in the town of Lam, in the Bavarian Forest. Wander und Aktiv Hotel Rösslwirt is set in a tranquil environment.
The apartment is small but it was perfect for our needs. You will need a car to get there but you can walk down into Lohberghütte in 15-20 minutes and there is a restaurant there, if needs be. The hotel nearby was closed over Christmas so it was very quiet and we had the wonderful views out the window all to ourselves. There is good walking in the area, so ... all was good. The owner was also helpful, but not intrusive.
Calm place with nice view. You can spend your time on the balcony enjoying the view, having fun and relaxing in the swimming pool or go for a hike right from the hotel withoua need to drive anywhere because it is located right on the tourist route. Also the breakfast was great so you'd have enought energy!
