EVERYTHING! We loved it.
We had rented the Junior Suite and loved it.
The breakfast was lush and had everything one could ask for!
We went in the wintertime, and with the snow all around it was like a fairytale.
On top of the hill overseeing the lake was amazing as well as the mountains on the side.
Appreciated the Spa! and the Saunas.
We also liked that the different buildings were connected and you had to walk to get around.
We would like to highlight the hospitality of the staff as well.

The view over the lake was stunning, both from the room and from the breakfast room terrace. The room was cozy, well-appointed and charmingly Bavarian in style. Best of all: the receptionist, a young man who made it a point to speak your language (he surprised me with how good his Spanish was) and absolutely helpful, mailing us some stuff we forgot in the room. To top it all off, breakfast was also very good. I definitely recommend this place which, although a bit strenous to get to on foot from the lake below, is definitely worth every cent.

Located in the center of Bad Wiessee on the Sonnenbichl mountain, this hotel is surrounded by the scenic natural landscape of Lake Tegernsee, green pine trees and mountain meadows.
The hotel building is very authentic, I liked the big hallways, high ceilings, old doors. The location is very quite, isolated but there are restaurants nearby and the surrounding’s nature is peaceful. There are hiking trails nearby. Good coffee which you can enjoy all day. The people are very nice and welcoming.
Breakfast and location were great, there is no restaurant on the property but you can get drinks from the front desk and there is a gasthaus next door serving food although with limited hours. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms have been stylishly updated. You can start hikes directly from the hotel.
