Fantastic location for a quiet, scenic holiday. Very comfortable apartments with mountain views. Dog friendly. Nice swimming pool - indoors and out (though the latter quite small). Sauna and sun room with scenic views. Ideal place to escape and chill out yet not far from hiking, skiing and local amusement parks. Friendly, helpful staff.

I came with my boys and they loved the swimming pool. It was the main reason we booked this particular place. They enjoyed the playroom as well. The location is great for exploring the Bayerisher Wald and we were pleasantly surprised that the room rate came with coupons to the Wald Wipfel Weg which we were planning on visiting the next day anyways (this alone is the reason my rating is so high).
This traditional, family-friendly hotel is set in the village of St Engelmar, right in the heart of the Bavarian Forest, and provides a great base for exploring the surrounding nature

Breakfast was nice with a nice breakfast bar.. The Staff would always insure everything was ok, and will make eggs to your liking.
