With its historic silver mine and timbered buildings it could have been the
setting for Snow White. Nonetheless it has modern shops and a lively atmosphere. Walking the old streets is a delight but there is also a forest on a mountain to encourage longer excursions,
Driving there is no doubt easy; we found travelling by train from Berlin was also convenient.
It was no surprise to see so many people taking photographs; the tourist office has splendid postcards too.

The old town square is the highlight among many!
The old town square is the highlight among many! There are literally hundreds of really old medieval and impressive buildings to admire. We took a morning guided tour of the town centre, booked on the day through the Tourist Information Centre, which was well worth the fee because you get an expert explanation of many features and buildings which you might otherwise not appreciate. We visited the Imperial Palace but there's not so much to see and the guide spoke only German which might be a problem for those who don't speak the language.
Dining possibilities in and around the town square are many and varied. Whilst there, don't miss the carillon/ Glockenspiel at the bottom of the square.

amazing small town with a lot to explore!
amazing small town with a lot to explore! We didn't do much homework before we visit but after this trip we highly recommend to book on-line tickets for the mining museum tours; it shall be another high light beside city tours!
1. Location: The location couldn't be better. From the hotel it is only a 3-minute walk to the Marktplatz. a train station is also in a walking distance.
2. Breakfast: The breakfast is served at the table. It consists
of several types of cheeses, spreads, jam and honey, fruits. And if you want, they will also cook an omelet for you. The portion is BIG and it tastes great. Please note that this is a vegetarian hotel/restaurant so no meat product is served here.
3. Staffs: All the staffs that I met here were cheerful and welcoming.
we were group of 6 friends travelling from Hamburg to visit Goslar and Harz national Park. We were in contact with Osso. He warmly greeted us and introduced us our place. He was always available through WhatsApp all the time. In the evening we asked for wine opener and he provided us shortly. Very nice and smooth communication.
The property is just a stepstone from city center. It is shining clean with all you need to cook and relax with some friends or family. We are very happy with our stay and definitely recommend it to anyone.
Wonderful place! The hotel is located in the previous ancient monastery, has great views and a big territory. There are a restaurant, liquor production, a field with plants, a small zoo with roe deer, bees and chickens.
The staff was very helpful and friendly, we arrived after the check-in time, but our key was waiting for us in a code-box.
The room was comfortable, clean and big enough for two. Breakfast was rich and mega tasty.
We will definitely come back!
The location is superb, around 100 m from the MarkPlace. You can walking to most of the attractions at the downtow, including restaurants / museums. The breakfast is also very nice, different from Hotels and very close to the familiar home. Also, there is a private parking space (it is very difficult to park at Goslar) and the price is 2 E, which is absolutely cheap. The staff were very friendly all the time and let me to park my car after my check-out.
+ Outstanding breakfast, many home-made varieties of bread; imaginative flavors; one of the best breakfast experiences I've ever had while traveling
+ Tranquil and safe location with a garden
+ Warm-toned rooms that feel like someone's home, not cold and modern like most hotels
+ Lots of parking spaces
+ Proximity to bus stop for getting to the city center
It was a great and comfortable stay. The location of the house was fantastic to feel the atmosphere of Adventmarket in Goslar. Everywhere you may walked. As we were the only guest - the bathroom, normally for sharing, was not a problem absolutely. Breakfast fine and fresh. We'd like again to thanks to the host for a great time

From entering the apartment you can feel the coziness and the details host has paid attention to. The room is very well-decorated and the bathroom is really clean. The only thing is it is chilly at night and the duvet on the bed is a bit thin. If I ever visit Goslar in the future I will stay here again!
The rooms are big and clean, the stuff is very nice and welcoming, WiFi works great, breakfest is excellent and tasty with a wide variaty of food selection.
Location is a few minutes walk from the town center and a good starting point to travel the Harz region.
Excelent location just oposite of main rail and bus station, ideal for hopping and exploring the Harz region and its picturesque towns and nature. Very hospitable staff at reception and the restaurant. Covid protocols highly respected.
My room was perfect, very clean and contemporary with modern and traditional twists. Staff were so helpful and nice. The location couldn’t be better for Goslars square/market areas. Will definitely return.
Very good choice in Goslar. The rooms are recently renovated, the hotel has a parking place on the back yard. It is 5 minutes walking distance from the town center. Breakfast was also good.
Very good location. Right outside old town. Walking distance to all Goslar. Parking possible at hotel parking lot or large lot right behind the hotel.
