Hotel Wanderlust is a gem just minutes outside of Baden Baden. The host, Mariann, was so wonderful and super friendly. We didn’t have much planned but Mariann was prepared with maps and booklets and helped us plan our entire stay! On top of that she prepared a great breakfast and the room was super clean. We plan to stay there again for our next visit in the Black Forest.

The apartments are furnished with a lot of taste, generosity and attention to detail. One can tell that a lot of love went into creating this place and this is what makes it so special and different from so many impersonal hotels.

We liked the location a lot, walking distance from the old center of the town. Restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. There is a bus line going to Baden-Baden close to the hotel (and you get a free-pass for public transport from the hotel). This place is fantastic, a 10 plus. Gorgeous super quiet rooms with a view. Excellent dinner, great breakfast. And when we were delayed a day due to illness, the owner only charged us 1/2 of the missed night, even we agreed with Bookings.com that we would have been responsible for 100%.
