Geiselwind is a small town with a few hotels.
Geiselwind is a small town with a few hotels. There is a supermarket and pharmacy, a bank and a few businesses. To the West is a leisure area. It's an easy drive off the autobahn and little difficulty finding facilities. The locals are welcoming. For me it was fantastic however, not a place for the party lover. I stayed at the Krone hotel. Facilities, food and staff were all excellent.

This was a perfect stop over hotel if you are doing a long trip with children. It is good value for money, perfectly situated ( just a few minutes from the motorway). The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food good.

Tv in room Towels provided and there was a balcony with the room No staff there as it is self sign in, we were due to arrive pretty late so messaged hotel owner via booking.com and there was a quick reply with clear instructions Great for those who are with car as location is remote. Free parking right outside hotel, in front of Lake.

The lady at the reception was very friendly and the lady in the restaurant also. The breakfast was really good.
