Geiselwind is a small town with a few hotels. There is a supermarket and pharmacy, a bank and a few businesses. To the West is a leisure area. It's an easy drive off the autobahn and little difficulty finding facilities. The locals are welcoming. For me it was fantastic however, not a place for the party lover. I stayed at the Krone hotel. Facilities, food and staff were all excellent.

This was a perfect stop over hotel if you are doing a long trip with children. It is good value for money, perfectly situated ( just a few minutes from the motorway). The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food good.
Basic but very clean hotel. Ideal for a small stop during a long trip. Arriving late was not a problem. Lots of free parking space in the area. For 7€ extra, you havé a traditional breakfast waiting for you in the morning on the table downstairs. Rooms are quite spacious. Good matress.
Clean hotel, clean room, quiet for sleeping. The breakfast was enjoyable with many choices. The staff were pleasant and helpful, english speaking a bonus. Free parking on site.
A 15 minute walk to the Geiselwind Event Center, which is why I stayed here.
Friendly staff and the hotel + room was very clean. We travelled for the first time with our 10 months child and we felt safe to let him crawl over the floor. The food was very tasty and fast service during dinner (mains served within 15 min).
Easy to get to, near the motorway. Good meal in the evening in the restaurant with the hotel. Good price for the room and very good price (eur 4) for breakfast which was good. Friendly staff. Big room and comfortable beds. clean.
Room at Hotel Krone was substituted for room at the hotel Gasthof Metzgerei Lamm that we had booked, but this was a surprise. Several eating places nearby. Free parking was adjacent. Breakfast in Hotel Krone was good.
Excellent place to stay overnight while crossing Germany, easy to find, 1 min away from the highway. Reception was open after 00:00, no need to go to Shell. Great breakfast offered at Toni's around the corner
Nice, clean, good location, quiet. Restaurant in hotel and Francesco's pasta was the best i ever had.. Also wine we had was top quality. Quite frankly can not fault anything during our 1 night stay.
The hotel was nice, the food was great I had a burger and it was wonderful. The wifi was strong i had no problems watching a show on my phone o table.q
