We weren't there to visit the Landesgartenschau (May - Oct), but it would be an ideal location from which to do so. All amenities are present and it comfortably fits five people. Freyung is a reasonably-sized town to explore and there are splendid walks all around through glorious forests. Contact with the owner is exceptional and extremely accommodating.
