In my room when I was there. I experienced wi-fi issues For some reason the signal was not reaching my room. I complained about it and they offered to switch my room but I think it might have been a router location issue but other than that this place was exceptional I highly endorse it.

The hotel is great and the staff is very nice.
The hotel is great and the staff is very nice. Always available to help and asking if everything is ok. The room and the bathroom are very spacious and the breakfast is very good, with a lot of variety to choose from. The location is perfect to rest and get away from the city. I totally recommend this hotel in case you need to disconnect and want to spend a few days in the nature.

Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed but we still got some Flammkuchen and beer. The breakfast was phenomenal. The hotel seems to have a few themed rooms. Our room had a kind of 80s look, wicked but not really my thing. I very much liked the way the hotel is organized, it relies on trust and it seems to have evolved around the long-distance hiking culture. Here is an example, just take a beer and write down how many you had.

It seems like every small detail was handpicked and it gives a feeling that the owners care a lot about hotel. The people we've communicated with (I assume they are owners) were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, we've slept very well. Breakfast was great as well - delicious scrambled eggs, several meat/ham options to choose from, tasty pastry. We would return for sure, if there is an occasion .

But once we found it, we were amazed. It's more like a boutique hotel, with a hunting/medieval theme with a lot of interesting works of art everywhere and a very warm and cozy feeling all around. Breakfast was pretty good and the owner was very kind to cook flammenkuchen for us as we checked in pretty late and the restaurant was closed.
