Excellent facilities, more like a resort than simply a hotel. Excellent breakfasts and meals at the on-site restaurant. Gift shop with handmade Schwarzwald treasures was amazing. Would definitely stay there again.

Its a perfect place for visiting the Black Forest, very nice shops around for excellent Souvenirs. Breakfast was excellent. It is not a good place if your intention of the visit is not the Black Forest, because everything else is very far no easy access to transportation

Nice place sitting in the heart of the Black Forest.
Nice place sitting in the heart of the Black Forest. The hotel was good but as it formed part of a complex it became busy with several bus loads of tourists every day we were there. Fortunately these tourists arrived as we were leaving in the morning and the reverse at the end of the day.
I like the location. It is not far from Hinterzarten where we arrived through train. And it's not far from Ravennaschlucht! In case their Restaurant is close, there's a nearby restaurant just 50 meters away.
The bus stop is right in front of the hotel which makes it easier to travel with bus. The room with balcony and mountain view is nice and relaxing.
Cleanliness is well maintained.
Lastly, I am very impressed with the very pleasing personality of the staff (both the receptionist and the one in the dining room)!
As we are long time bicycle travellers, the hotel was in a very convenient place after a 30 km climb. To our surprise, the hotel is owned by an Indian family and, as we love Indian food, the cook made us a fantastic Indian breakfast. Thank you again, that was so nice of you. Hopefully the restaurant will open soon because the man who cooked our breakfast will definitely cook a very tasty meal as well.
Breakfast was very abundant and vary, a real treat was the selection of fresh baked breads every morning. We booked two rooms and the family double room was spacious and quiet and had a balcony. The location of the Hotel is very convenient for walks and very central to any other destination in the area with a large parking available for guests.
Ravenna Lodge is stunning. The property is well looked after, sits in a Ravine next to a stream and is very calm and relaxing. It's open plan so feels very spacious. The hosts are amazing, very friendly and helpful, we couldn't have asked for more. If you don't want to cook then you can go to the hotel approximately 150 meters away.
We loved the whole atmosphere/culture of the quintessential "Black Forest" location, including the hiking trails and also the adorable building with the Glockenspiel and the main hotel. And the included breakfasts had a wonderful variety and good quality food. Also, the dessert selection - including the Black Forest Cake was excellent.
Second time staying here as it is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with nice touches such as coffee/tea etc. Bathroom had a really good walk-in shower. Breakfast was good, with a lot of choice. Dinner on the first night was excellent, with friendly service and good food.
The room was satisfactory, I like the idea of two separate rooms for my wife and I and one for the children. The breakfast was excellent, although it would have been nice to have breakfast in the hotel itself. This was not a problem however the offsite restaurant was very nice and accommodating.
The hotel was situated perfectly for our stay of touring with motorbikes. Loads of room to store our motorcycles in the garage. The staff were very helpful and friendly and couldn’t help is enough with any requests we had. There was a good selection of food at the continental breakfast buffet
The location is great for visiting the Lake Titisee area with an interesting glassblowing studio on site. Directly behind the hotel is a nice hiking trail. The main restaurant and breakfast buffet staff were so friendly and accommodating. The Hofgut staff really made our stay special.
We stayed here as it was literally next to the Ravenna Market. It’s a beautiful and comfy hotel. the breakfast is delicious and the staff super kind and polite. You have a real size cuckoo clock just outside. it’s literally amazing.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff! Very clean hotel... dining area, bathrooms and hotel room. Large hotel room, good size bathroom, nice chairs, desk closets. Had a refrigerator too!
3rd time we stay there. Good location (well sotuated as a starting point for daytrips; surroundings are really nice; hikes starting right behind the hotel; nice shops).
The hotel was excellent with Greta helpful staff. Rooms were clean and well equipped and the location was lovely with nice shops and interesting walks into the forest.
