Actually, I’m speechless how was good to stay there.
Wake up in the morning and see the mountains and the cows with the Bavarian bells, unforgettable.
Also have the option to choose which kind of bread you would like to have in the morning, eggs from the region… everything was so delicious.

The hotel is a short distance outside the city but the roads are good and well maintained. Breakfast was not included so we purchased items an a grocery store. The facility was very nice, clean and well maintained. We got our keys out of a key box to which we had been given the code over Whatsapp. The parking was available and we had no problems with that. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the comfortable beds and views. A nice kitchen and refer was available for our use, so that was nice.

Gasthaus Elvira is located cost to buy connections and also with great views of mountains such as watzmann. Several hiking opportunities directly from the stay. Also good for short trip to Salzburg, Königsee etc. Breakfast was extensive and plentiful. Rooms were very cozy. Hosts make sure that we are happy and gave us hiking tips. I would recommend it again.

Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner (oven, utensils, microwave, dishwasher, pots/pans, toaster, etc.). Check-in was super easy and efficient which made the traveling process less stressful! This was not a problem, because the hostess helped me with this. It actual was very educational. After a long day of hiking and sightseeing, the outdoor pool was wonderful! The pool was totally covered when the weather was bad and could be opened when the weather was nice. The grounds were exceptionally taken care of with several seating areas.

The rooms were spotless. The mattresses were firm and the beds spacious. The bathroom was big and exceptionally clean. The Hotel as well as the rooms were not brand new, but maintained very well. They accommodated our dog. (We had our breakfast in the great room, as dogs can not enter the room with the open buffet, which is understandable) The cows add to the rustic charm of it.
